Do you think after chunin exams, when Sasuke found out Itachi was after Naruto and he ran after Naruto and Jiraiya trying to protect him, he blamed himself? That he caused this, because he didn't listen to Itachi and let himself be happy, feel, make a new family (or the Sasuke version of it), let himself care for Naruto, so itachi was punishing him for it by going after Naruto? That Sasuke was probably cursing himself in his head, calling himself weak, silently feeling so guilty for putting Naruto through this and blaming himself, begging his brother in his head to not take his new found family away?

I'm glad that Naruto/Sasuke shippers bring up Naruto being a great battle strategist. Sakura always gets so much credit for doing nuffin and supposedly being the brains while Naruto is the idiot. Meanwhile even in the beginning Naruto was the first to come up with a strategy during Land of Waves while she was just standing there!
