this is what saddens me the most.

stranger things (and especially byler as a relationship) used to have insane media literacy with such beautiful symbolism and parallels.

we did not imagine any of it, byler has never been a “crack ship”, there is a plethora of minor (and major) details that have always pointed towards their love being reciprocated.
