i have no idea how to like promote my substack posting, like i will be posting today?? its about how collecting media and consuming media differ??? especially compared between books and video games???? my two niches???? idk read it if you want

im actually pretty stoked about how this post turned out because i kinda merged three different essay ideas together into one, and im so glad it turned out coherent, kinda, almost

so having a new job take a few hours out of my week is taking more effort to manage than i expected, so im running out of steam with my substack. ITS NOT GOING AWAY, I PROMISE, i just need to make changes to its upload schedule again so i can get posts out that im happy with

the first change is going to be blogspot: im just gonna stop posting there all together. blogspot was fun for a little while, but i simply can't keep up with posting both on substack and blogspot each week and i prefer substack to blogspot anyway. if substack goes to shit, you know where to find me, i guess.

second change: im probably going to stop posting sms posts. well, they'll still exist, just will be fuel for main posts going forward instead of being their own series. the sms post that goes up tomorrow (YES, TOMORROW, AS IN 5/24!!) will still go up but will be the last of its series. i might come back to it later, but trying to come up with what i want to write about there, on top of already struggling to know what to write for my main series is draining, and my substack is supposed to be fun. it was a cute little series for three months, but like god, id rather put that energy toward my main series. THERE WILL NOT BE AN SMS POST FOR JUNE!! tomorrow's post will be the last one :)

third change: im probably going to move to a monthly schedule for main posts. im not fully sure if this change will happen in june, or if itll get pushed back until fall, im gonna play it by ear. maybe getting rid of sms is enough to have more to post in the main series, or maybe not, who knows? ive been wanting to dedicate more of my time to finishing undulating waves and my game project but having three posts go up at the end of the month every month is kind of a lot and takes up a lot of my focus for the week, on top of needing a post ready two weeks from there. or maybe i just need to lock in more and manage my time better, but idk man i feel like im doing the best i can.

um so these changes are going to be rolled out throughout june as it goes on, and keep in mind that my upload schedule might switch to monthly sometime after that. most likely, lets be so real.

anyway very cool, see you tomorrow at 1 PM or something
