Despite Neil having an additute problem and often throwing very colorful words at reporters he's actually a pretty quiet student. He usually attempts to pick a spot with some distance between the other students and mostly keeps to himself.

Teachers are also mostly chill with him after weeks off wary stares do to his status as a Fox. Neil is sure one of the teachers was even scared of him and still is because as soon as she started to lose the fear all the 'my dad is a killer' shit happened. To be honest Neil can't blame her.... and then there is this one teacher and oh boy does Neil hate him. That Teacher made it his entire mission to make every Foxes life more of a hell than it already was. This guy has some weird superiority complex and tries his absolute best to make Neil feel stupid and awful for existing. It's the only Teacher that has ever kicked Neil out off class after Neil dared to stand up for himself. Wymack is already trying to get Neil into a different class with little success.. even tho Wymack had specifically requested for no Fox to be in this guy's class.

Oh well... Neil doesn't have friends in any of his classes and he doesn't really care to make any. That doesn't stop noisy students from trying to get to know him. Most try to start a casual conversation while sitting next to him just to get either no answer or dry one word answers. Some try a different approach and try to bully Neil but that's nothing an additute problem can't fix... of course there is also thoes that have a crush on him and attempt to get closer to him but that usually never goes well... "worse thing he can say is no" .... well

not in the romantic sense the quote is originally meant as, but it’s still just as dear to me. Neil’s whole life has been about being unrecognizable, about wearing faces that arent his own, about staying unknown. and here comes Wymack, and by extension really all the foxes, who know Neil so very well he is sometimes shocked they noticed him under all the layers.

regardless of what identity neil takes on and how he changes his looks, his family recognizes him
