This is the song I wanted to make Sesyl/Arn's ship tag, but it's not really that kind of song. "Please talk to me they way I talk to you." is a line that summarizes their dynamic perfectly but is a bit long for a tag.
All of Sesyl's songs are soft and acoustic and kind of dreamy. Everytime I listen to their Arn songs I have to lie on my floor for a while because I am so emotional about Them.

Then Empress Acina would choose the up and coming head of house Baize -- and daughter of the late Lord Lioran Baize to be their champion. With the death of the Emperor years later, the new Empire's Wrath would be crowned officially, and now Emperor Vowrawn wields her as not only a political pawn, but a destructive force of nature on the everchanging battlefield against the Republic.

OOO thank you for the question, I was just contriving a plot to bring about Qori/Lana/Kira (and also just work through Qori's mental state after KotXX, as I can't see her remaining the commander after everything she's been through. She never wanted the role in the first place), so this is PERFECT to flesh that out.
So I'm playing with the idea that after battling Valk/Tenebrae/Vitiate for the final (?) time, Qori is really disillusioned. She took a break to recover after Valk broke her mind, and she did physically, but then she jumped back in at the start of Onslaught. But it isn't the same as it was before. She feels like the galaxy is trapped in this endless cycle. And she doesn't know how to break it. Then he crops up again. And it's just too much. She bats him down. And then she's just done.
The one bright spot in all this is seeing Kira return. Throughout her class story, I always played it like Qori has this quiet crush on her. She didn't want to cross that line with her padawan, and then when Kira was a full-fledged knight and they were partners, she didn't want to give the Council a reason to distrust Kira more (and that was the surface reason. Deeper, she was afraid to cross that line herself. She was afraid of what comes with getting "too attached." Qori has always kept a certain distance between herself and others; she thought it was right, and only later is she confronted with the idea that she might've just been protecting herself from pain and fear at the expense of more fulfilling relationships. She hears so much of the evils of the Sith and fearmongering on the dangers of attachment (which isn't to say there are none and that possessive attachment isn't an issue, but the game clearly depicts some Jedi just dogmatically against even a whisper of attachment, so I think Qori would pick up on some of that). So she keeps distance there to protect herself).
But anyways, back to the heartbreak. She decides to leave with Kira and Scourge (they don't stay with the Alliance afterwards. They would, but since Qori isn't going to be there, they don't care to be). She has Dravim break cover and take over her role--there's some drama I won't put here, but basically, she takes the approach of 'power should go to the person who least wants it.' Whether that is wise in this case remains to be seen.
But Lana. Lana does not take this well at all. Lana feels hurt, and she feels betrayed, and she doesn't want to leave (Qori initially invites her). They've been growing distant because Lana wants to rebuild and strengthen the Alliance (they've grown weaker even after the destruction of the Eternal Fleet due to Imperials running back to the Empire and losing soldiers during the course of the war, and they're not really getting fresh recruits given the purpose of the Alliance--to overthrow the Eternal Empire--has passed. Systems threatened by the Empire don't care to join a weakening organization that welcomes ex-Imperials like the Alliance does. They don't trust that the Alliance can even still protect them. So if they join something, it's the Republic because at least it's something they know). Qori does not want to continue the Alliance and keeps trying to talk to Lana about dismantling it. This causes problems because Lana doesn't really know where she'd go afterwards. Sure, she can figure it out, but she loves what she's built, and she loves that she's built it with Qori. She does not want the Alliance to end, and she sees their current state as a mere setback that can be rectified. There's that line at the beginning of Onslaught where she says, "I didn't expect this place to feel so much like home," and that's a lot of the motivation I have for her here. She has a home, and it's a home she loves and believes in, built alongside someone she loves and believes in. So Qori giving up on it hits really hard.
Lana and Qori get into a massive fight when Qori announces that she's leaving. This is partially because Qori does not discuss it with her--she makes the decision and then tells Lana. Part of the reason for that is because it hits her rather quickly, and once she realizes she wants to leave, she realizes that she's not willing to entertain the idea of staying at all. She just can't anymore. But also this is the person Lana wants Qori to be--the commander. Decisive. It's who Qori's been for so long, she doesn't know how to be anyone else anymore. The fight is bad enough that they break off their engagement, and Qori leaves with Kira and Scourge.
Qori is not looking to get together with Kira during this time. Her heart is broken, as of course she loves Lana. And the thing is--at first she just doesn't let it hit her. She wants to stop and let her feelings work themselves out, but she doesn't know how to. So she just jumps into smaller missions with Kira and Scourge for a while, and Kira (who's always been able to read her very well) keeps trying to broach the topic and get them all to slow down. Even Scourge, after a time, realizes that this is not helping Qori. But Qori keeps rebuffing them. She doesn't want to think about heartbreak. She doesn't want to think about the weight of the galaxy that's rested on her shoulders for so long. She doesn't want to let it all come crashing down.
Until it does. I don't know exactly what happens or when this happens, but of course, it ultimately does. I'm not certain where they go--maybe Tython? But it feels not quite right. I may have to flesh out a few of the places Qori traveled as a kid. I wanted to have her oldest master, Djazo, still alive, so honestly, Kira might take Qori there, and she gets a chance to catch up and remember who she was before all this started. And it's there that she works through the exhaustion, PTSD, and heartbreak, with these two people she trusts implicitly and has missed more than she express.
Eventually, they do confess feelings they've harbored all these years, and later, they reconnect with Lana. I don't know the details on that just yet. But! I know it ends Lana/Qori/Kira lmfaoo
