ok so something i noticed about the new cards
so like . the trained versions of tsukasa, nene, and emus event feature all three of them in a pop up book of sorts, which is a consistent theme in this events cards
all of the trained cards have this, excluding rui’s, which has him holding a book close to his chest instead
it feels somewhat out of place, right? until you consider rui’s role in wxs.
he’s the director. he’s the one directing their shows, and writing their stories. it’d make sense that he’s the one holding the book, along with the pen next to him implying that he wrote it, guiding their direction. him holding the book so close shows how he cherishes wxs, he cherishes a place where he can be himself and he cherishes the people there who see him for who he is . GOD i rambled for way too long anyways conclusion is this set is so good
