Epsiode 11 was great for me. We had competent and sassy ZZS going up against THREE opponents, and despite being at only 50% of power and hurting from internal qi injuries managed to fight to standstill, killed one of them with SECRET WRIST POISON NEEDLE GUN.

WE GOT BLOOD PUKING!! And ZZS follows in the grand tradition of being beautiful while puking blood.

And THEN WKX rocks up, and is all, "I HAVE COME TO MURDER!" And then FORGETTING IMMEDIATELY about murder on seeing hurt ZZS. And is all, THROWS FAN TO GET THE TWO ANNOYING PERSON OUR OF THE WAY AND IS ALL, "AH-XU! WHO DID THIS?!?!"

Look at that fucking face and that BOSS™ ENERGY.

And then being all, "I'm going to kill and tear the ones who hurt you into 10,000 pieces."

After meeting the third party player, Scorpion King, we get the family of three settling in front of the fire for some family times. And WE GET QI TRANSFER TO HEAL!!! ONE OF MY FAV WUXIA TROPE.

THIS IS SO GOOD TO ME. A few things here, ZZS trust WKX 100%! And WKX didn't even think about using his own Qi to heal ZZS. TRUE LOVE. And WKX's little SMIRK OF, "I GET TO TOUCH AH-XU! AND HIS BUTTERFLY BONES!! HEHEHE."

In conclusion, FUCK YEAH.

(But also, fuck, ZZS is such a sass-mastee but is also perfectly happy to fight dirty. He is actually super rude here, but with boss energy. And finally, you’ve got their son Chengling playing mediator between his two dads the two of them by telling his Uncle Wen to apologize (funny how he just assumed that it must’ve been WKX’s fault without even knowing what happened shfjdjsk) and coaxing his Master to forgive and forget.

And the funniest thing is that it’s actually working, from the way Zhou Zishu begrudgingly joins the conversation and berates (without any heat) Wen Kexing over what he’s teaching their son his disciple.
