You can often find free to use/credited sprites online!

Whtdragon has a great post with animals!

Itch.io has both free and paid!

The benefit for paying for some is that you can get the license and use it freely for commercial games while some free assets are for non commercial games.

I also use an art program called “Pixel Art Studio” that allows me to make tile sets/sprites in it. Just look up the dimensions of your version of rpg maker and it should work!

Just know that if you do use premade sprites that are purchased or free, please check the terms of use to see if you can edit them at all or not!

Protagonist options for the new project to learn RMMZ! I’m also considering opening a Ko-Fi with tiers of support where subscribers can have different perks both game wise and discord server wise!

So for example: Tier 1 will gain a special role in the server + free art where as Tier 2 gets Tier 1 + a character of their choosing in the game and so on and so forth!

Forgot to update here that RMMV finally died on Mac book so I have to pause and wait to upgrade to MZ or get a laptop solely for game making.

However, I am fiddling with Ren’py rn and seeing if i can make something with it

Working on a project inspired by @ragingstinkingrottengay ‘s post about a game centered around religious trauma! The game is called Thorned Cross, and I’m excited to see what all I can do with it!!

Coming from the dead to say i figured out a very rudimentary weather system! I can now set the current weather and then also predict the next day's weather! And then when the player sleeps, the next day weather becomes the current day weather, and a new next day weather is chosen!
