This is the sweetest scene in the whole series for me. Sorn loves him. He really loves him. And you know it’s real because all he wants is to care for him endlessly, never asking for anything back

I just heard there's going to be a special episode of Dinosaur Love - and it may lead into the spinoffs with the other couples. Is this really happening?

I'm honestly flabbergasted ... yet still intrigued.

@shouldiusemyname, @magpie24601, Tumblr decided to notify me about this post a few days ago and I almost died from shock before realizing that it's an old post.

We already got the special episodes (that were actually still part of the series) and we got the Vietnam spin off... That's enough, right? Right??

I did, however, take this reminder as a prompt to check on the other series of the Buddy Line Y Animal universe. It seems like a couple of months ago Domundi / Mandee took over the project - but I couldn't find any details. Whatever happens, it can only get better, right? Right??

@nerdybunnydestiny , @magpie24601 WTH?!? I was also notified a few days ago, and I was too shocked (apparently) to even look at the date... I did run to iQIYI to go over everything and relived some of the trauma. I am encouraged by the fact that Domundi is taking over. The only way is up!

They announced it in February with their line-up. It was one of the projects that still seemed very vague without a cast or poster. One of the couples supposedly is Tutor & Yim. But that's the only detail I could find.

With all the vagueness, it still seems quite uncertain. I have my fingers crossed for something good!

I just got into BL again a month ago and still have a lot of catching up to do, so I'd prefer that any second attempt at DinoSnore can/should take all the time it needs to turn out great :)

Plothole and a few other things

My biggest mystery.. had me in giggles... Who thought 4 minute room was real real!!!... and that lady with her mysterious look was just so unnecessary. What did she mean by "i will grant you two the power of 4 minutes"... literally everyone who died had their 4 minutes experience .. ha ha

2. Given 4 min. room was real, the plothole is how did Great come out of his 4 min. world. Clearly, each person is living their own 4 min. reality and not criss crossing into each other's universe. With that logic, Den was with Tyme to pull him back into the reality... but Tyme was dying and clearly not there for Great by his hospital bed...

3. And again, on the boat, conversation is structured as if Tyme was there when they ran to the place (although it is ambiguous... those two might have discussed with each other their experiences and that's why Jess asked the question about knowing this remote place (and we know they have discussed the experience with Den as well.. and maybe amongst themselves

4. My greatest aha! moment withthis series...

Remember the 3 patients at the beginning who were recounting their death experience? Lookwa was straightforward and we thought this 4 minutes experience happens to a few... BUT WE WERE WRONG..

Remember the male patient said that he saw a white light.. which is what we saw in tyme's case...

Effectively, all those patients were telling the truth, all had 4 min. experience... but from storytelling perspective, we the audience were shown parts of their narrative... that is why it came across as disjointed/ extremely different near death experiences.. whereas the fact is.. there are some common points in everyone's case

5. Was Tonkla saving Korn or Win...

Answer is Tonkla was saving Korn! Win wasn't even in the consideration set!

Look at his body language... he reacts to Korn picking up the gun not to Win already holding the gun..

While saving, he came forward as a shield for Korn, facing Win.. and not stopping Korn from shooting Win because that would have required Tonkla to face Korn and back towards Win

My questions so far are:

What did Tyme do during the 2.5 minutes that we never got to see? Why not meet the love of your life much earlier? His brain only introduced him to Great just short of the 3-minute mark.

Why did Korn experience any kind of 4-minute fantasy after shooting himself in the head? The brain that is needed to come up with that alternative reality would be mush, right?

Who was that lady mysteriously showing up in the 4-minute room? Why was that room even there in a building that didn't seem like any kind of art gallery?

What did Tyme do during the 2.5 minutes that we never got to see?

Why didn't he meet Great much earlier during his dying delusions? If this was the man, his unconscious had settled on loving, wouldn't it make sense to meet him as soon as possible?

When you shoot yourself in the head, would you even get a 4-minute death dream?

Or any kind of last thought, for that matter. Didn't you just scramble all the neurons that would still be needed to create a beautiful farewell fantasy?

I honestly don't believe Great and Tyme survived.

Agreed. There was lots of symbolism throughout the show, and specifically in the last ep. From the halo clock hovering around Great's head from ep 1 to the angle wings in ep 8. Come on, angle wings?!

And even though there were several watches, we never got to see the time. Also, from the story telling, the resolutions, and the events that we got to see, it makes more sense. Will need to think about some details, though.

I love that they gave us an ending that is open to interpretation. :)
