It's been a while since the two of you broke up. It's been months but its still been hitting you like a fresh wound being poured with vinegar. It's stinging so bad.
Togame has been the sweetest partner you've ever had. An absolute sweetheart. He never fails to ease up your troubles away.
Hearing his heartbeat against his chest always calmed you down. He likes taking naps, especially when you are next to him. Nuzzled against his chest, arms wrapped around your waist. Sometimes he's the one nuzzled against your chest as he sleeps peacefully. Looking like an absolute angel.
You couldn't get his face out of your head. Long eyelashes gently kissed his cheeks as he slept. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps so you never managed to wake him up whenever he falls asleep suddenly. You just watch him as his chest slowly rises up and down.
Then he's somehow upset whenever he wakes up-
"Why didn't you wake me princess? I told you I missed you, time flies when I sleep. I came all the way here just to see you..." Togame said against your skin, voice still raspy as his breath tickled you slightly.
"You were sleeping so peacefully I couldn't wake you Jo~" You giggled as you ruffled his soft hair.
"Wake me up next time"
"We'll see"

He's always down with doing anything you like. He may seem like a grumpy grandpa but he knows how to make you happy. He goes along with your crazy ideas and makes you the happiest person ever.
"Jo why do you always go along with my wild ideas?" You asked as you guys silently walked outside the chilly night, hand in hand.
His Shishitoren jacket around your shoulders to keep you warm. It smells like him.
"Because you always smile when we do the stuff you like" He answered simply, swaying both your hands that were connected gently.
"So?" You cocked your eyebrow at him.
"I love your smile"
Oh you absolutely love this man.
So people couldn't believe it when you two broke up.
He couldn't either.
He strongly protested against it but you were determined to let him go. You felt like you were suffocating him. Limiting him of his potentials. Just because you were with him.
You felt like you didn't deserve such a great guy.
He needs someone better.
Someone who will deserve him. Not someone like you.
Who knew you'd end up eating your words as you watched him with another.
Standing at the town plaza, you stood there frozen in place. Christmas songs played in the background and a sweet couple stood in front of you, displaying their affection to anyone and everyone who saw them.
All smiles. Just like when he was with you.
Arms around waist. Just like when he was with you.
Loving eyes. Just like when he was with you.
You thought you'd be happy when he finds happiness with someone else..but you were wrong.
It hurts.
Seeing him smiling like that.
They're not for you.
They're no longer for you.
You're no longer the reason why he's smiling like that.
Then your eyes locked with his-
It hurts.
You know it all too well.
