I refuse to shut up about this. I’m convinced that Nezumi and Inukashi are lowkey besties.

They might not show it in the usual way, but every single time in the novel when one of them needs the other, they show up immediately and help out. Inukashi is the only person Nezumi has real, honest conversations with besides Shion. And let’s not forget the fact that the first person Nezumi visited after coming back was Inukashi.
