it's just so aggravating because i literally know this i'm king of knowing this [hiding my 5000 word unpublished meta garbage with full citations under the bed] but like it's such a looney tunes thing with them. he loves me he cares/just kidding bdubs love you is the craziest thing that ever happened to me in fandom i think abt it daily. and i know that bdubs believes in etho's loyalty to him beyond the point of absurdity even when etho does not deliver and i just know it's because they have been friends long enough and returned to new opportunities together enough times that they can just ride it out as long as it's fun ive literally been saying this. and it's kind of funny when etho makes a potion machine in his base and somehow when bdubs attacks it on a stream he's right that it was a stupid clown to clown direct threat to bdubs for forgetting their intent to go halvsies on a potion shoip together and like okay yeah they have idiot telepathy

but then etho is like actually we've always been teamed every time. for ever. even when i didn't follow through bdubs was right that in my heart i was on his team. and it's like what if i killed you both with hammers

also if had a nickel for every time etho said some insane out of pocket how the fuck are you even paying that much attention to what bdubs wears moments i would have at minimum fifteen cents.
