This took ages, I kept redoing parts and had to watch countless tutorials to learn how to paint certain things, but I think in the end it was worth it. For once i wanted to draw some original characters of mine from a book I'll never write.

10 years ago, when I first started playing Dragon Age, I made a fan art of Fenris, and I hated it so much that I never drew him again. Now, after a decade, I'm still nowhere near my art goal, but I made this just to remind myself of all the progress I've made.

They say fake it until you make it so I tried to make a real book cover for once.  With this illustration, inspired by 'The Familiar' by Leigh Bardugo, I was trying to capture the allure of the book's world where history and fantasy intertwine. With ok results, I think lol

Last night, I was on TikTok, and I saw another artist draw all their Dragon Age protagonists. So, I spent the last day or so doing the same because why not. I'll probably make another Rook just to romance Lucanis and to use my Lavellan Inquisitor.

Now that Veilguard is out, I'm deep into my old Dragon Age obsession, so I decided it would be fun to draw Lucanis like a Velasquez painting (Velasquez—Portrait of Juan De Pareja). I might do more companion portraits in this style just so I can practice more.
