Roxanne: God, why does this always happen?

Steph: Maybe because you never set an alarm? Maybe because you sleep like the dead? Maybe because you don’t have any internal clock whatsoever and are always late to everything?

Roxanne: I get it, Steph. And by the way, it’s not my fault. My father also sleeps like the dead and my mother’s timing is terrible. 

Steph: Yeah, yeah, nothing’s ever your fault. God, Professor Patil is going to skin us alive.

Lily: I bet you five galleons you can’t do a cartwheel right now, on the beach. 

James: Are you sure you want to bet that Lily flower? 

Lily: Oh, yes, please go ahead. Seeing you fail will be so much fun. 

James: You’re on! Fred, hold my beer.

Though James didn't like to admit it, he had a soft spot for animals, especially dogs. He always had one when growing up, and he convinced Alice to let him get a dog when they moved in together.

Dom: “But Mummy, I don’t want to! You can’t do anything in dresses!”

Fleur: “But don’t you want to look pretty like your sister?”

Hermione wanted her children to always have a connection to books and the Muggle world, so she named her children after famous Muggle authors that she read when she was a child. Rose’s middle name was Beatrix after Beatrix Potter and Hugo’s middle name was Roald after Roald Dahl.

Victoire loved growing up at Shell Cottage on the beach. As a little girl, she would spend all the time she could playing in the water and walking on the beach. During Summer Break from Hogwarts, she spent almost every day out there, which caused Bill and Fleur nickname her their ‘Beach Baby’, and Victoire’s style reflected that.

Once they got married, Harry and Ginny decided to take on the challenge of fixing up the Potter Estate. Though it was a bit big and needed renovations, they made it work and turned it into a home they could raise their children (and Teddy) in. The privacy they had in the countryside was optimal, far away from prying eyes which made them able to install a Quidditch pitch. Their first addition to the family was their black lab, Padfoot. Four children later, they adopted another dog and a cat. Big enough for large family gatherings, they had many birthdays and holidays at the estate. Starting out as a large, drafty, crumbling manor, it turned into a warm, inviting, cozy home.
