Noooooooooo!
Robbed. No Emmy nom for Matthew Goode. Don’t worry bubbie - one day……
Couldn’t agree more. Such a crime to overlook such an incredible performance. Wonder if they even watched the show. I think they just went with safe and critically acclaimed choices.
The offer episode 8 - few gifs to start going
This whole episode was TV gold from Matthew Goode.
Couldn’t agree more. His scenes were great and also hilarious.
This moment. Wow.
Matthew Goode as Robert Evans in episode 7 of ‘The Offer’.

“You give everything to this business and there’s nothing left for me.”
That went well then. 🤦 😢

Matthew Great! Such an amazing scene.
“This is gonna be a shitstorm!!”

His speech in this episode…WOW 🤩 He IS Bob Evans 👏👏👏
Thanks to @matthewhugsdiana for uploading it on her You Tube[ Nikki_adow] coz I’ve been rewatching it over and over.

What a scene. His speech delivery was just perfect.
“Nice work, Bobby.”
Yep. Worst fears confirmed. You don’t need to even hear the dialogue to know that Bob is thinking WTF?
Matthew Goode as Robert Evans in ‘The Offer’ episode 5.

Exactly. No words are needed. Very Goode acting.
📸 The Offer Ep 5 HD Caps - Part 8
Loved his changing facial expressions here. Very subtle acting from MG as always.
“Don’t ever try and go round me again!”
Small preview of episode 4 of ‘The Offer’. Matthew is exceptional as the creative chief of Paramount who does an awful lot of shouting in episode 4! He does several phone acting scenes, which are difficult to do because you don’t have a co-star to react to. Doesn’t seem to trouble him tho’. Goode episode.
There’ll be a few more ep 3 pictures before I post more edits of this one.

Loved his phone scenes. His timing was just perfect.

Better known for enigmatic intensity, Matthew Goode captures the manic joy of the Paramount chief in making-of-'The Godfather' drama 'The Of
Great article!
Love this article. And the pictures.... 🥵
Great edit. Lots of Goodeness. He really transformed into a big time movie boss in the 70s.
Matthew’s pensive gaze over Hollywood as Robert Evans, looking very sleek and elegant.
Snart är det premiär för The Offer på Paramount+ och det är en fängslande miniserie om hur Gudfadern blev till.
This is a google translation of part of the article.
“That the cast mostly consists of actors who are previously known from comedies is a conscious and well-thought-out choice. Teller, Ribisi, Juno Temple (Bettey McCart) and Matthew Goode (Robert Evans), to name just a few, are so incredibly convincing and authentic in their roles that they must be born to play these characters.
A winning whole
In addition to a complex story in itself, where all turning points surprise every time even though they come when they should, the characters are also complex with their own wills and developments that make it easier for the viewer to relate to them.
The message of the conflict lies in the subtext, which means that the dialogue is exactly as it should be, it is only there. There are no unnecessarily long lines that interrupt the flow of the story, but the action is carried forward in a credible way.
The long shots with fast Italian-breaking lines make me think of Sopranos (1999-2007), albeit with a higher tempo in the narrative. I would definitely not be surprised if The Offer becomes the next big Emmy winner. I can not even get rid of the series' striking signature tune and its long intro in my head, but I do not want to either!”
"The Offer" premieres at Paramount + on April 29, see it!
Great review. Matthew is definitely very convincing and authentic as Robert Evans.
