Gabe went on a run in 40 degree weather and he’s not back and I’m pretty sure he froze to death somewhere.
False alarm he’s back and he’s not a human Popsicle.
In other news, in Michigan, I'm waiting until 2pm today when it's supposed to warm up to 37 before I got for my run. You know, for the heat.
yo y'all I started this year wanting to be in better shape and maybe run more (before this year I had never run more than a single mile at a time and only under the force of gym) and maybe do a 10k in the next few years and I ended up running 5 5k races, a 10k and 2 triathlons and losing 60 pounds which was also hella and joining a very fast bike group of very fast people I would have been WAY to intimidated by before And in light of all that I'm very thankful for the support that friends and family gave me and no one ever told me it was impossible and I'm also thankful for my body because I put it through a lot but I build muscle so easily and I really appreciate that

Breakfast:
I have 0 energy, and since I’m drinking decaf coffee now, I decided to have a little more carbs than I should with breakfast to give me a little more energy. I only ate about half of the eggs (there were two eggs here) and most of the toast with PB and banana.
Now my goal is to NOT snack between now and lunch. No candy, no quest bars, just water.
I can stay strong and stay away from the candy bowl
when i’m trying not to snack i keep altoids (or other sugar free mints) on deck, it helps just have something

You were great but I couldn’t handle being in the 1/3 of the population that bled super heavy all the fucking time.
Hopefully Mirena treats me better, because if it was uncomfortable as shit to put in.
Ahh no :( I had near constant spotting for 2 months straight when I got nexplanon and i went to my Dr and made an appt to come in 2 weeks to get it take out and literally that day the spotting stopped and it's been a year and i've had 1 period. I hope Mirena is better for you!

Swim workout-
To all my swimmers, can you give me feedback on whether or not this was a decent swim workout????-
Total of 1,900 meters in ~36 minutes!
It was broken into 15 minutes (825m), 15 minutes (775m), and then 6 minutes (300m).
It was just regular freestyle! Just like normal freestyle swimming laps
Yess that’s a totally great workout.
Distance-wise, I shoot for every swim work out to be 2,000-2,500 (that’s just personally) so that’s a good distance and good time time, too!
