I fear for my life.
lets have a little fun today lets give a little love away are words that are going to haunt me forever. this is my roanoke.
This sounds like a bot….but what caused it to suddenly activate after a year? What kind of monarch project activation code….??
It was nice knowing you guys….

This reads like a Reddit horror story.
Know their names and their stories.
If mainstream media won’t share their stories, we will.

“you. to the polls. now.” beto o’rourke campaign ad 2020
I hate all of you
“bpd is minutes of being fine then not being fine” is
a. a stereotype, and
b. such a bare-bones, whittled down, infantile way to define borderline personality disorder. totally stigmatized and incorrect, but on top of that, it’s stripping away all the complexities that make bpd such a monster of a mental illness. i’d fucking love if that was it, if it was just “being fine one moment and sad the next!” and that’s all. nah, i get to deal with crippling fear, the inability to form or maintain interpersonal relationships, impulses and intrusive thoughts, extreme loneliness and emptiness, the list goes on. and that’s just for me, it’s different for everybody. oh, also,
c. a real good sentence to say if you want to sound like you just took your first psychology 101 course and this week you reached Chapter 9: Mood Disorders and you think you’re so smart you could get up there and teach the class and then go invent the pill that cures depression because you know all about it right
oh also I finished another @shitpostsampler pattern! There are some ummmm Design Choices that got made because I can’t follow a pattern apparently, but I like it!
Men think it’s ruder for a woman to say “don’t interrupt me” than it is for them to interrupt her in the first place
id probably call that ruder. Jus cause I interrupt someone don’t mean I was mentally thinking bout cutting this annoying ass bitch off. it just so happened my g.
I know you would call that ruder. That’s what the post was about.
Me: men think this
A man: no, actually I think exactly what you said men think
Me: right.
Don’t say the shooter’s name.
The dude who shot up two mosques in Christchurch New Zealand did so for two reasons: because he is a racist fucker, and because he wants to be a famous shooter. So don’t give him that. Don’t say his name, don’t share his face. Let him be a nameless, faceless nobody. Share the names of those he killed – remember them. But make the shooter as unknown as possible. He doesn’t deserve to have his name known.
^ From a therapist-friend, in case any in-therapy-friends ever worry about this.
Probably for the best. Get away from the SJWs running the places. They’re the #2 reason I’m not going to college. The #1 reasons are because my grades were shit, I don’t have the money for it and I have no idea what I’d go for.
This is literally the fuckin funniest reply ksoehfveuwjrvrvwk
tag yourself i’m the sjw running the place

I would like to personally apologise for being unrightfully spiteful towards Johnny Depp.
Hi, there’s no sources on this, the lawsuit is suing at least in part because of financial reparations and is not just in the interest of finding Depp innocent. Heard’s career suffered after she went public with the allegations, and don’t forget that she gave away the entire $7 mil divorce settlement. That said, I do find it possible that she abused Depp. But I also find it possible that this is his retaliation against her for damaging his career, and even if she did abuse him it doesn’t mean that he’s completely innocent of all her allegations. It’s important to support male abuse survivors, and we can’t ignore the possibility Heard is an abuser, but I find it extremely disturbing that the majority of the notes on here are going back to believing Depp with not even a “let’s wait and see how this pans out” Most abusers don’t admit they’re wrong and many of them seem very nice and kind on the outside. Johnny Depp is NOT your friend, you do NOT know him and you certainly do NOT have an accurate view of his character and who he is as a person because of his publicity stunts.
Ladyoftheshield’s reply was spot on. As someone who works with DV victims for a living, I believe it is completely possible that Depp was abused and that male victims are often ignored because of outdated, sexist ideals. It’s also possible for both people in the relationship to be abusers or for one to be acting in self defense, which muddy’s the waters even further. That being said, I find it disturbing how the sources being used are mostly tabloids and some Johnny Depp fan account tweets. If this new information shows us anything it’s that we shouldn’t jump to conclusions regarding such a serious issue, which is what everyone immediately siding with Depp after seeing this is doing.
Re: ADHD, you say that it's an arbitrary category used to group a whole bunch of different symptoms, and I mostly agree with that. But isn't one of the key things about ADHD that stimulants and such have a completely different effect on people, so they get used as medication? In other words, isn't there some degree of non-arbitrary definition, even if it's not actually usable for diagnosis?
My understanding is that this is basically not true. Stimulants improve focus and problem-solving ability for most people, regardless of whether they have ADHD, though improvements from a worse baseline are more dramatic and the substantial unpleasant side effects may be more likely to seem worth it when your baseline is worse.
Scott writes about this:
Meanwhile, Adderall works for people whether they “have” “ADHD” or not. It may work better for people with ADHD – a lot of them report an almost “magical” effect – but it works at least a little for most people. There is a vast literature trying to disprove this. Its main strategy is to show Adderall doesn’t enhance cognition in healthy people. Fine. But mostly it doesn’t enhance cognition in people with ADHD either. People aren’t using Adderall to get smart, they’re using it to focus. From Prescription stimulants in individuals with and without attention deficit hyperactivity disorder:
“It has never been established that the cognitive effects of stimulant drugs are central to their therapeutic utility. In fact, although ADHD medications are effective for the behavioral components of the disorder, little information exists concerning their effects on cognition…stimulant drugs do improve the ability (even without ADHD) to focus and pay attention.”
I cannot tell you how much literature there is trying to convince you that Adderall will not help healthy people, nor how consistently college students disprove every word of it every finals season.
Related to that, stimulants definitely have some potential for tolerance and dependence even if you use them as prescribed. People like asserting that many medications don’t carry those risks if used as prescribed, but humans vary enough that this really isn’t true. Yes, obviously snorting Adderall puts you at vastly higher risk than using it as prescribed, but there is no guaranteed risk-free way to take medication and having ADHD doesn’t guarantee it’ll work differently for you.
I think as a society we’re terrified of saying “if this medication makes you more able to pursue your best life, you can have access to it under protocols that are about ensuring your informed consent rather than about gatekeeping” and so instead we say “this medication will only make you able to pursue your best life if you are Truly Deserving.”
