One of the things that really fucks me up about Knight Terrors: The Flash is that it's not JUST that Barry would kill his best friend to save Wally, he would also... continually use him for that purpose with the full knowledge that it was hurting him. The reason Hal is there in this nightmare to begin with is that the cosmic treadmill is too busted for Barry to operate on his own, he needs Hal to hold it together for him - rather than just fixing it himself. Probably this represents Barry's fear that he just uses Hal as an emotional crutch without giving anything in return or fixing his own problems, but it's being represented by Hal being a broken and betrayed corpse on the floor and still somehow helping him regardless.
"tim figured out batmans identity!!" mia did it better!
BRUCE'S HELMET. HER DAD'S COAT. ALFRED'S SHOTGUN.
THAT'S THE COOLEST DESIGN EVER.

Absolute Batgirls
[ID: Illustration made to look like a magazine cover with Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne on the cover. Bruce is on the right, fixing his tie, and Ollie is leaning back with his head on Bruce's neck. Some small blurbs are surrounding them, and the biggest one says ' Star City & Gotham's Two Playboys come together for a world charity event '. END ID.]
rich playboy duo
Oh let's check this random batman issue surely nothing annoying can happen–
jason being canonically Not Evil is funny but him somehow managing to use that in fights is even funnier. like the time he ragebaited essence to stab him with her "Warning: Only Use Against Evil" sword so that when she does get him, the sword is like 🤨🤨 ayo that guy is pure of heart tf are you doing and essence gets trapped in the sword as punishment
Posting dickroy at 3am! They wandered off from the party a while ago…someone should go find them.
I think Hal would actually adjust faster to being in the Batfamily (in the context of getting with Bruce) because he grew up with brothers, and did just about everything Mom Jessica Jordan did when her boys got rowdy
Dick and Tim are arguing over who messed up what during a recon mission while Hal is nearby, clearly nursing space-lag? Hal stomps over, slams a knife between them and glares at them hard, daring them to say something, and they meekly apologize to each other before stalking off
Cass whining "JASON CALLED ME A DUMBASS 😡" and instead of asking Jason to apologize, Hall tells her "Okay???? Do you want suggestions on what to call him back? Call him a motherfucker then" without even looking up from what he's doing, and it stuns both Jason and Cass that they both forget what they were fighting about
Damian whining about not being able to go out with his older siblings on a mission to a bar despite having had a few sips of bear and age restrictions are a fascist invention!!, and Hal just tells him "And why would you want to go to a cave full of stds?" and Damian actually goes "you know what? I never thought of it that way"
A few months with Hal living in the manor, the family had never been more amicable and (relatively) more behaved
Bruce has started calling Hal a divine blessing, a gift from heaven, an angel of light.
But the kids know.
They are afraid (and begrudgingly respectful) of Mom Hal Jordan.
say what you will about WFA but they looked at dickbin and said Yeah he got molested by a giant flower .
a brave commentary on sexual behaviours in abused children
Batman/Nightwing: Bloodborne
Only words they've exchanged btw
Just let out a really loud sigh...
Mind you this is from a comic that celebrates the Asian heritage of superheroes.
Tim: Hey, Dick, what's my surname?
Dick: Drake?
Tim: No, I mean as Robin. I have to fill out these forms for a new hero team but it won't let me submit it without a surname and they don’t know who I really am yet so...
Dick: Oh, it's Knight. That's actually Bruce sanctioned.
Tim: He agreed to it?
Dick: Not exactly. He had to full name me in the field once in front of Lex Luthor and said 'Robin the Boy Wonder Knight, if you do not get down from there this instant...'
Tim: Does he use it?
Dick: I think so. After I started using it. He's sentimental like that.
Tim: And it has nothing to do withthe fact that it means he can write alias: Batman, forename: The Dark?
using my blog as a scrapbook of all my fav nw v2 #124 panels
It's a very interesting back and forth but I would lean towards yeah, kinda! What I really like about this interaction is the way Dick does actually seem to listen to Roy and give his words of advice some thought.
So even with the playfulness which is kind of antagonistic but also familiar, which acts like a shield to deflect with, and even if the Hey IM worried about me is kind of flippant, and he doesn't seem to be engaging with what Roy says until this last panel of them, where suddenly he's like...... yeah.... and the thanks Roy which I read as very genuine.
And in the next panels when he's back at the apartment with cheyenne we see that not only has Dick THOUGHT about what Roy said but he's even discussed it with Cheyenne. Roy's words hold a lot of weight. Roy is one of the few people who can manage to talk Dick down from whatever spiral he's in at the moment, like Dick listens to Roy (even when he pretends not to) and I really like how this issue hints at the fact that Roy's opinions actually hold a lot of weight and worth to Dick.
