my band had the biggest oof™ yesterday

So it started to rain while my band was inside, about an hour before the football game. My band director, after doing inspection, told us to stay inside until we get further notice due to lightning. So my band stayed inside.

It was also middle school night, so my band director had to sent them home, which was sad for them.

About two hours later after having weird conversations about hentai and who’s gay and who’s not and playing ERS and mafia with my section, my band director told us we’re going out onto the field. It was supposed to start at 7 and it was almost 8:00

The other band stayed without instruments until halftime (bc they are like an hour and half away by bus) and my band stayed ALL THE WAY THROUGH. We even had our instruments (and cases for us woodwinds) and played throughout the rain until around the 3rd quarter it stopped. (we had ponchos).

So basically we were all very tired
