Starting Anew

Hey everyone, I know I haven’t posted to this page in a while, but my presence on Tumblr isn’t gone forever. As my last post outlined, I couldn’t get the url that lined up with my social media rebrand I pushed in 2020. Great news though: That changed, and I’ve got control of it now. Don’t know what happened, I got no word from anyone, BUT the Nintokis name on Tumblr is now mine to run with! So PLEASE, for all future updates, hit the jump and I’ll see you on the other side! Nintokis.Tumblr.com  Not to worry though, this page is staying up! After all, there is a TON of legacy art that links here, and a handful of my posts are still making the rounds too! An Open Question About Tumblr Name-Hoarding

So, in the complete off-chance that someone both reads this, and is able to help me out, I’ve got a question for the more avid Tumblr users: Are there really zero options for me if the name I need is taken? My main social media focuses are on Twitter, Instagram, and Twitch, under the moniker “Nintokis”. I’d like to keep this tumblr, and maybe have it redirect to a newer art blog, which has the same name, but it’s been name-squatted by a person who has kept that blog unused, and is unresponsive. Should I just bite the bullet and and have a small variation of the name for Tumblr? Figured I’d throw that out there, and see if there’s another option before I swallow my pride and just do that latter option.

Should I keep using my tumblr? I can’t get the name changed to match my other social media profiles, because some rando’s been name-squatting it for years now. Tried contacting both support and that person, to no avail. But yeah, either way, here’s some good ol’ Travis Touchdown! Rooting for this boy to get into Smash!

I hardly browse Tumblr anymore, and have heavily considered dumping it, but I’m honestly not even sure. In the mean time, however, we’ve got ourselves a (mostly) finished commission! I’ll be adding a background before the year closes out, but either way, we in there.

Okay, buckle up kids, this account is coming back to life. I was triple-dog-dared to take part in Inktober this year, and United States law dictates that I go to jail if I decline that challenge. So here we go, expect a collection of honest efforts, joke doodles, an obligatory Pokemon drawing, and more. Here's day one! Unfortunately, I couldn't spectate their fights in Smash, but this came from the Vidyashorts Discord server. It was Ganon vs Joker, and this legendary line gets dropped. But yeah, there we go. Full disclosure here: I forget that I have a Tumblr on an alarmingly frequent basis. I only remember when I go to submit art on places, but I guess I’ll keep using this blog. Not like I lose anything by doing that, right? Surely someone reads this, right? :p

No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again is a wonderful game, and you all should play it. There also isn’t enough art, or even in-game content, of Badman and Travis interacting, so here we are. Started as a doodle on my phone, and over a handful of weeks we got here. I’m super happy with how it came out. Cheers! I’ll see you when No More Heroes 3 happens.

Wow, it’s been a minute.

I’d posted a lot on other social media outlets, but I’ve kinda abandoned this old tumblr, for whatever reason. But have an incomplete project while I work on another project, rather than finishing this one.

Well, isn't that awkward? No art for months here, but I swear I've been practicing. There's a lot of stuff on my phone that I might post, alongside an entire book I filled with doodles at work. But yeah, looking to be more active online across all platforms, so look forward to that. Been playing a LOT of Enter the Gungeon for the last few weeks. Honestly, putting it on the Switch was such a great decision, as I feel rogue-likes lend themselves SO well to portable systems. 

Now if only we can get that Crypt of the Necrodancer port outta ambiguous development hell...

The lights to this blog aren’t on, but I still work!

As the last post said, school’s out fam, so I finally had time to finish up this gift to a few wonderful friends who moved away some months ago. 

Also, overwatch is fun sometimes. I’m not a huge fan, it gets old fast, but I play during events because skins.

WHOA (I swear I’m working on projects. They just take ages because I’m adjusting to the new style I’ve adopted and really like. My new process is so backwards and stupid though, please help.)

Oh. Also, I’ve got college art classes next semester. Get hype for even LESS updates, but better quality art. Also, I was too lazy to do a background, as I’ve sat on this sketch for like a month now. N. Sane Trilogy’s been a load of fun, but Crash 3 aged like a fine milk. I swore the reviews were exaggerating, or being bad, but nearly every level where you aren’t controlling Crash or Coco on Pura is next-level Trash.
