Happy 10 year anniversary of Steven Universe!

This show changed my life when I was in middle school, but long hiatuses and shifting attitudes towards it meant that I never watched past mid-season 5 for many years. I am so glad that I decided to pick it back up this summer. At this point I am better able to appreciate how unique SU's philosophy is, the risks the Crewniverse took, and how much passion clearly went into its production. I am a little sad that I forewent being affected by the ending in real time, but I'm thankful that I and so many others have been able to experience it at all.

Anyways, here's my Crystal Gem compilation post!! I realized the 10 year anniversary was approaching, so I ignored all my responsibilities and shit these out in a week! I have a piece for Steven in mind that'll hopefully get made soon.

Just watched the latest episode of Steven Universe today - I tear up during every episode but this one was very special. Love hearing more backstory - especially for seemingly goofball/silly characters.

I've been watching Steven Universe w/ my partner, recently. I wanted to do a small design of Lapis -- since Lapis Lazuli is found primarily in Afghanistan ! 💧

Early Adventure Time Episode: finn discovers a squirrel that can burp like a human and names it Burpin Mike. he uses Burpin Mike to prank jake, but takes the prank too far and learns a lesson about boundaries.

Late Adventure Time Episode: Burpin Mike's burping talent has netted him a lucrative career as a political spokesperson in the candy kingdom. the job brings him success, but he hates himself for selling out his talent. he is depressed, and at one point is implied to be suicidal. none of Adventure Time's main characters appear in the episode.
