On a similar note, reading a fanfic about a profession that I’m in but the author isn’t. Read one where the character was a nurse and she was using medical terms. What killed me was “You should avoid NSAIDS, take ibuprofen.” Like ma’am. I am a medical scribe for a provider. Ibuprofen is an NSAID

I just really want to say that the BLM movement is not a 2020 disaster by any means. I know a lot of ppl keep saying that this year keeps getting worse but I think that black voices finally being heard is a sign of improvement
reminder: while its good that everyone is reasonably angry about the george floyd situation, these instances are traumatic for black folks to constantly see/hear about. please continue to share constructive posts and talk about ways to help, but please stop sharing videos, brutal details about the incident, etc. while for you this may seem like the right way to call attention to the issue, for us it is harmful and scary to be conistently bombarded with morbid details on social media about the ways people react violently to our bodies. please exercise sensitivity in choosing what to share at this time.
