This doesn't exactly capture all the fun events around #specialolympics but it was a great time - martial arts in wheel chairs, signatures from around the world on a #Toyota, a map of where games are taking place @UCLA. In my opinion, these are the strongest human beings on earth. They are tremendous athletes & it's been a honor living among them on #thehillUCLA. I meant to post this a few days ago. Not for #thot(ness) of it 😂. But, because it's taken many years for me to expose my body, which for my context is an arduous & emotional step. So why now? I am a #feminist, proud, & fierce. I let a man @ the gym demean my accomplishments by insinuating I had a "great surgeon." His comments triggered an insecurity in me to hide my body. 2 years ago, I could never wear such a flattering sports bra. I did that! I work hard, really hard. I sacrifice much to privilege my fitness journey. I'll be damned if I hide behind the cloak of shame & insecurity. In closing - #women, #ladies, #girls #divas, alike own your fierceness.
