Literally nothing better than a man who is big and scary and mean who has never known kindness meeting someone who is just naturally very kind. Like instinctually gentle and warm to everyone, who smiles and laughs and helps without hesitation. And the man becomes obsessed, always looking for their smile again or their approval, starving for more of that same kindness.

He becomes their shadow, it becomes their new normal. He is so self aware that he's a danger to them, that his lifelong need will drive him to consume them whole, but he can't keep himself from coming back.
