Super late on this but I love how the elements of the student six are confirmed in the last episode. And i was on reddit reading about it when it hit me that they represent the element that is hardest to learn for their respective people.

Changelings (generosity/beauty) never used to give love or appreciate beauty

Dragons (loyalty and bravery) dont take risks for each other unless they have something to gain

Griffins (sorcery/magic) dont have or care for magic at all and specifically prefer to tough things out

Hippogriffs (hope/laughter) lived in fear and isolation

Yaks (strength/honesty) are strong but their conflated self image isnt honest

Ponies (healing/kindness) have mostly avoided other societies and we see how inherently sort of racist they are even amongst themselves (unicorns, pegasis, earth ponies) hahaha

A great juxtaposition to the Mane 6 and Pillars who exemplified their elements. The pillars honed their elements, the mane 6 imbued and lived it, the student six learn it.

How I would rewrite Wicked Act 2 -- (admittedly having only scene the movie version)

When Fiyero sees Elphaba fighting the Wizard he asks her why she's doing all this and Elphaba says "Galinda never told you? The Wizard is a fake. He's behind the missing animals" THEN Galinda walks in and Fiyero confronts her "You've lied to me all these years... I really am brainless"

At the same time, Elphana sees the green vials and takes one. The Wizard makes a comment about these being specially made before Fiyero pulls Elphaba to run off.

Then we get a song from Elphie, Fiyero and Galinda where they ask "Whats the good in knowing (the truth)?" -- Elphie is frustrated learning who her dad is, Galinda confronts her guilt, and Fiyero deals with his shame for going along with Galinda, Morrible and the Wizard.

(Personally, I'd cut everything about Fiyero and Elphie being together because the immediacy of it all undermines both their friendships with Galinda)

When Elphaba confronts Galinda about Nessa's shoes, Galinda's response should include "those shoes just appeared on her feet, everyone just assumed it was me. I know you enchanted them, maybe it was a side effect of your spell" their fight is the same. Galinda's lines about being encouraging and a public figure all land the same. But later when Galinda confronts Morrible about the tornado, Morrible says "those silver shoes should serve as a good incentive to draw the Witch out of hiding... so glad you thought of it"

In the scene where Boq says he'll kill the Witch, there's a moment in the background where the Scarecrow pulls out a piece of paper and disappears. He returns later without the paper.

When Galinda appears at Kimiko Castle, Chistery takes her horse to the stable and sees something in its open satchel. (Alternatively, when Galinda goes to the stables, the door is already open and Fiyero's horse is gone).

After Galinda goes into the closet we see the shadow of Chistery going to Elphies side right before Dorothy comes out. When Fiyero later goes to find Elphaba, he says "you got my note" and Elphie says "just in time."

PART 2 MY HAZBIN HOTEL SEASON 2 PREDICTIONS

THIS HAS NO BASIS JUST VIBES AND DREAMS. WHAT I THINK AL’S PLAN IS AND HOW IT WILL PLAY OUT:

First off, we know Al knows Vox wants to be a god. Also, Al knows Charlie wouldn’t lie about redemption being real.

Al let himself be captured so he could spy on Vox’s plans while also protecting Charlie from the Vees’ interference. Why would Al do that?

1. Charlie assuming power is part of Al and Rosie’s deal. (Rosie said he can’t quit the hotel, and in Ready for This, Rosie concurred that Al should guide Charlie’s potential)

2. Charlie owes Al a favor, and that favor will be worth more from the queen of hell.

We saw in the trailer that Lute and other archangels bring gift baskets to hell with Charlie at the center, so Al will get whatever intel he can from Charlie and let it slip to Vox to accelerate Vox’s plans.

I think somehow Lute will inadvertently or misguidedly help the Vees. Lute needs heaven to fear hell so she can satisfy her bloodlust, Lute will see Vox as an opportunity.

Al waits until the right moment to let Charlie find out about Vox's uprising. Charlie then goes to stop it, eventually pulling Luci into the fray. I see two possibilities after this, either Lute kills Luci during the fight as vengeance against Charlie —OR — heaven holds Luci responsible for the uprising and Luci is somehow removed from power, imprisoned by the angels or something like that to leaving Charlie to take over. Lute still becomes a fallen angel because she somehow helped the Vees and let the threat grow instead of reporting it immediately.

Either way, Al gets what he wants, Luci out of power and Charlie holding the crown. Now Al prepares to cash in his favor with Charlie to free him of his debt to Rosie. But before he can do so, Lilith returns and takes the crown from her daughter.

My Hazbin Hotel S2 Predictions and Theories

Finally watched the first half of S2 and I obviously did a deep dive on TikTok to hear all the theories and speculations hahaha. I am obsessed with this show and here are some thoughts I have:

1. Angel’s Redemption will be sparing Valentino’s life - I think Charlie’s line in Ep. 3 that “we have to redeem your own sin” in combination with the speaker’s lyric “every transgression must serve as a lesson” is about as black and white as we’re gonna get on how redemption happens. So, what’s the key for a murderer to redeem himself? I saw someone say it will be self-sacrifice like what Pentious did, I disagree. Pentious was a coward and he redeemed himself through courage. The opposite of killing isn’t self-sacrifice, it’s mercy. I think when the Vees either fail to take heaven or when Vox decides to ditch the Vees so he can rule all on his own, Val will end up powerless and weak. Val finds Angel and Angel now has the chance to escape his contract if he kills Val. Angel then has to realize that despite all the reasons he has to justify killing Val, it would ultimately make him no better than the Vees. Angel spares Val’s life and walks away, maybe Val tries to kill him instead but it’s too late, Angel is redeemed.

2. Lute will become an overlord in S3 — I saw someone predict Lute being the next fallen, and I agree but I don’t think she’ll find redemption right away like some people said. Lute is so angry and volatile that she wouldn’t trust Charlies or anyone in hell to help her get back to heaven. She’d instead try to build her own army of sinners so she could do essentially what Vox wants to do, storm heaven, and reclaim it. Lute is the peak of self-righteousness, and becoming fallen would probably just convince her that Heaven needs new leadership. She will take a long time to learn that she’s in the wrong.

3. Lucifer will die. Ok hear me out. — Some people are saying that another character will die this season, and if that is true I think it will be Luci. However, I’m starting to think he may just get dethroned somehow instead. Either way, Al needs Charlie to be Queen, only then will he cash in his deal with Charlie. So, if someone is going to die permanently, it should be Luci, who appears to not have anymore character growth going on hahaha. But Al can't just go and kill him, he needs someone like Vox will has no reservations challenging an angel. Al will manipulate Vox and hopefully force lucifer to sacrifice himself and put charlie in charge.

Look I'm sorry to anyone who thought the Saja Boys were a real band, but it was obviously fake from the beginning.

Huntr/x has been doing this gimmick for years where they'll put on a performance and some actors dressed up like demons will "interrupt" it or get into some choreo fights on stage and stuff. If you're a fan you know, the demons usually symbolize things like industry corruption, Mira's struggle with her family, Rumi being in the closet, etc, and there's lots of hints and secret messages to the fans in what they're wearing or how they show up. Check out huntresx5evah on blsky they've got an extensive examination of the "demons" over the years and what the messages to the fans are.

In the concert before Golden was released, the demons were dressed like flight attendants. That was the indication that something new was about to take off. @/queenhuntrixdontmiss and I speculated that it was going to be a new single and low and behold, it was.

But then the live performance got cancelled. It's an open secret that Rumi was having vocal issues, so that was probably not planned. They needed to buy time for her to recover, so, enter the Saja Boys -- a fake band of guys really clearly pretending to be demons, they release ONE single, do a bunch of b-tier variety shows for a week, nearly all of their public appearances have Huntr/x right there, keeping the hype and energy up until Rumi can get her throat polyps removed and furthering the routine where Huntr/x are supposed to be secret demon hunters and the Saja Boys are supposed to be secret demons.

Then the whole thing culminates in the Golden live performance at the idol awards, the big act with Huntr/x fake "break up" and the subsequent theatrics to make it up to fans for failing the first Golden performance. Huntr/x takes their obligation to fans very seriously, I've no doubt that they all felt terrible about having to cancel, so a free show was the obvious recourse to try and make it up to people. And they pulled out all the stops!

But the Saja Boys were never real. I mean they got real guys to pretend to be a boy band and do the dancing and lip syncing obviously, but come on, most of them didn't even have names.
