Strange Magic cracks me up and Delights me, because it takes a classic trope-"Grumpy Bad Guy meets Sunshine Girl and completely fritzes and softens in the face of her genuine affection"-and then... Doesn't have them end up together? Or imply that they're going to?
Instead, he ends up with her angry older sister who pulls a sword on him twice in 24 hours and is as heartbroken by (and thus skeptical of) romance as he is.

The development of Bog and Dawn’s relationship is such an underrated yet well done part of the movie. I don’t know how many dozens of times I’ve watched this movie at this point, and I still adore watching how Bog and Dawn’s relationship unfolds. I love how he goes from disgustedly holding her away from himself with the very tips of his claws to resignedly letting her hang on him, poke him, tug on him and just puts his arm around her shoulders and steer her because he knows that resistance is useless.

In examining my budget and the entirety of my expenses even without car accident repair expenses, I’ve been forced to admit to myself that I don’t have the sufficient funds to cover this by my lonesome.
So, even though it embarrasses me to do so, seeing that so many have it far worse than I do…I’ve started a Go Fund Me to help me cover the expenses of the work that needs to be done on my car.

STRANGERS ( as in fans of the movie Strange Magic) ! Any of you have any ideas for t shirts, plushes, etc based on Strange Magic that you’d be interested in having? Keep in mind that with the cutting machine and vinyl, it’s best to keep to few colors and simpler shapes.
I’m def going to make a glitter love potion shirt, but any other ideas? I’d def be down for a fandom raffle and/or sale of some stuff in honor of the Month of Lofe!

Get Ready for the Month of Lofe!
From February 1st to the 28th, we’ll be celebrating all things Strange, Magical, and Lofely!
This will include a total of 4 prompts, one for each week of February!
We’ll end the event with a screening of Strange Magic (along with a voice and video chat, so bring your flower crowns!) and a “Secret Valentine”, in which people will be given someone’s name from a hypothetical hat and will reveal that special something by posting it on here!

A bit late with a daily sketch, since today was the day of sleeeeep, but this is a small exercise in coloring and trying to figure out Sketchbook, as well as working on Marianne’s design for a little side project I’m trying to shape. [it’s a TH crossover/AU, like i can’t even pretend it’s not]
