It is always morally correct to dead name Sears Tower
In my old city, some bank bought “The Galleria” in the downtown core which was an indoor mall of doctors’ offices and shops. It had a movie theatre, and a gym, and indoor parking and even housed one of the callcenters so plenty of people worked there. It even had a food court and a larger sit down restaurant/pub. To be fair, the bank did have one small shop front…
They changed the name to “[BankName] Plaza”.
I lived in that city 10 more years and no one except radio DJs called it the new name (and they probably had to). Bet that ticked off the bank. lol
