The stress of my job is physically hurting me, but we need the money from the raise I got, so I can't step down.

Anyone have any advice? Stress-relief tips? (Also for context, I am a Fresh department manager at Walmart.)

All my friends go out of the country or go travel for weeks at a time and I'm just like Can we afford groceries this month And I want to rip my hair out.

One thing that sucks is that we couldn't afford my health insurance this year so I had to drop it, and I haven't had birth control for two months now. But hopefully when our work's enrollment period comes along I can get on my husband's insurance. I hope. My periods are awful without BC. ;_;

Percy Julian an Amazing Chemist! 

Percy Lavon Julian, Chemist, pioneer in the “chemical synthesis of medicinal drugs from plants” and “large-scale chemical synthesis of the human hormones”, created “the foundation for the … production of cortisone, other corticosteroids, and birth control pills”

He was rejected by Harvard for PhD studies because he was black, but accepted by University of Vienna, Austria in 1929. 

As an African-American, Julian was denied opportunities to work for large corporations throughout his career, though he went on to hold more 100 patents and received 19 honorary doctorates. 

In 1990, he was entered into the National Inventors Hall of Fame, and in 1993 he was honored with a Black Heritage Commemorative Stamp by the U.S. Postal service.
