the thing so many people don't understand is that the reason wikipedia is generally not accepted as a source has nothing to do with accuracy. wikipedia is (generally) extremely accurate! the reason wikipedia isn't allowed as a source for school is because it's a summary of other sources. wikipedia has correct information, but it gets that information from OTHER places, which are either primary or secondary sources, which lends them credibility that wikipedia technically lacks.

so yes, wikipedia is a GREAT resource to learn new things! but if you want in depth, specific, and creditable sources, don't use wikipedia! use wikipedia's cited sources!!

This is an excerpt i wrote for the 5e campaign im running for my friends. I'll put out more stuff later abt the characters if ppl want or if i want to. Alcetara is half of the soul of the Material Plane, Alyssenia is the deity of guardianship and protection and constancy. (Alcerara is Alcetara Yggdrasil)

//sad times ahead//

A hand fell on Alcetara's shoulder as she watched the tear in creation slowly stitch itself back together. The hand squeezed slightly as Alyssenia spoke from just behind her.

"You did the right thing, Lady Yggdrasil. She would have destroyed everything you worked to create."

"Everything *we* worked to create." She snapped, correcting Alyssenia. After a moment she softened though, "Apologies... I should not have snapped, Commander."

"It is nothing, my lady. I misspoke. A simple mistake. Perhaps you can create something new without her taint in it, now." Alyssenia's words stung, the barely hidden distaste - the same tone that humans toom when speaking of scraping excrement off the bottom of a shoe - momentarily enraged the grief-fueled fire in Alcetara's chest before it guttered out into pitiful embers.

She could not forgive her sister for starting this war... Not when it endangered so many. Not when she had forced Alcetara to rip away half of her own soul to save the many creations that they both used to love so dearly.

When had it come to this?

Alyssenia gently took Alcetara's hand, turning her to face the other direction - towards the empty room, only Alyssenia to look at.

Alyssenia raised her other hand to Alcetara's face

"You did the right thing - the only thing you could have. Now lets go, and we can watch all of your creations live on, and be better for it. You will heal, and so will they. One day there will be nothing left of this grief, and all can be forgotten."

Alcetara buried the piece of her that that frightened. She buried it under mountains and rubble.

So what if she forgot about this, it would be better than this ache.

Alcetara stepped forward with Alyssenia, ignoring the tear that traced down her cheek.
