While many may be aware by now that the infamous dishwasher scene was filmed in a house in Atlanta, unsurprisingly, this is not where Bucky actually lives in Thunderbolts. So where does he live?
Luckily, we're given a brief establishing shot right before this scene, which if it's to be believed, provides all the info needed to track down the exact location. In fact, it's so full of information I was able to triangulate it in less than 5 minutes and I'm not even familiar with the DC area.
As you can see, we've got the US Capitol building lit up in the background with the Lincoln Memorial even further back, which gives us orientation and relative distance. The unusual angled intersection helps narrow it down even further. From this (and a few other small details) it can be determined that the building in the foreground is 700 Constitution Apartments.
Fun Fact: This apartment community is fairly new (opened July 2017) and resides in the renovated and restored southern wing of the BridgePoint Hospital, which previously sat vacant for 20 years.
Now here's where it gets more dicey.
That establishing shot with its slow zoom-in on those lit-up windows would have you believe Bucky lives in the top corner of this building. If that's the case, he'd be in the 1443-sqft, 2 bed/2 bath unit below (with a current starting price of $4200/mo 💀).
However, the house they used to film the interior does not match the exterior. There are too many windows in the kitchen, there's another building where there should be a street, and there's a tree outside, all of which are visible in the scene, though it is very dark.

So how do we reconcile this?
Option #1 – Chalk it up to poor scene matching, decide to ignore the exterior details of the interior set, and believe he lives there anyway.
Option #2 – Believe the establishing shot at least gives a general idea of where he lives in DC, even if it's not the exact unit or building.
Option #3 – Assume the shot is only establishing DC as the location and nothing else in it matters.
I'm personally somewhere between option #1 and #2. The interior set does have a vague resemblance to the exterior location (the sink, stove, and windows are all at least in the same place) and they have a very similar vibe. Both are older buildings, updated and retrofit for the modern era, while still retaining some of their old-world charm (much like Bucky). I believe the intention was that he lives somewhere in this building, just maybe not that exact unit. Option #3 seems much less likely to me, because if they only wanted to establish that we're in DC without implying anything else, the focus of the shot would've been one of the obvious landmarks, like the Capitol building, instead of it being so far off in the distance. But you can decide for yourself.
