So, Shane successfully negotiated Ilya out of any props for this photoshoot, and he stands by that, but now wardrobe has taken things to the other extreme: Ilya is currently sauntering from the makeup tent to a section of beach framed by aesthetic rocks on one side and a wall of light reflector umbrellas on the other, and he’s wearing only a watch.
Okay, he also has on very small, black, silky briefs.

Hudson deleted all his posts and replies on Threads today, and I don’t blame him at all. It’s been so toxic and terrible over there towards the entire cast and crew.
Sending all lovely, healing, positive vibes to Hudson and Connor. I hope they’re both taking care of their mental the best they can. They’ve been through SO much in such a short time.
To not only reach stardom the way they have so abruptly but to also have to deal with a truly psychotic, abusive part of their fan base so often I imagine is taking quite the toll…
I’m glad they have each other to lean on, and I’m hoping they’re able to keep and maintain their friendship despite the judgmental criticisms of keyboard warriors and disrespectful RPFers. Their unfilitered, unafraid selves and the beauty of this show brought me out of one of the darkest spaces in my life, and I’ll be forever grateful they shared that piece of themselves with us.
I hope they know there are many of us here that appreciate, respect, and are truly and genuinely inspired by them 💛

(I had so much fun making the previous journal page that I decided I wanted to do more. There's no plan for this, I haven't a clue how many pages I'll make (and any uploads will be sporadic), but we're just gonna have a wee bit of fun in the meantime. Timeline is post-MW3 but Johnny lives. And if you guys got the chance to read Soap's journal (you can find it on the wiki page 'Soap's Journal'), the FNJ stands for 'Fucking New Journal', hence the volume two aspect.)

Fuck, this feels weird to be writing again. It’s slow going; my hands cramp or get numb if I try and hold a pen for too long, but the phys. doc thinks it’s a great way to increase/refine motor function. Plus it helps with the… (The word you’re looking for is aphasia, you’re welcome) The fucking word that means I can’t think of the right word (whoever named the condition is a sadist).
So here we are.
Been in a coma for a couple of months, woke up to Lt’s snoring (absolute mouth breather this one, no wonder he doesn’t sleep on stealth missions) (There’s a reason I don’t sleep on my back, Johnny). Watched him for a bit, wished I had my phone to record it (blackmail at its finest) (Just remember who wiped the drool off your face for two months), then got worried that he needed my gas tube up his neb more than I did. Gaz says he’s been there a lot. Enough that the big man’s arse cheeks have left a permanent imprint, Gaz found it uncomfortable. (<- Redact this)
They all visited, never been given so many flowers in my puff, they were pretty enough but they made my nose itch something rotten.
Had a little cry to myself when they left. An odd feeling to know you’ve been missed that much.
But Lt. sort of lingered, looked a bit lost, a bit stumped. Then gave me this new journal, like he knew I would need it. (Asked the doctors about your recovery plan. Had the thing for weeks, never lost hope.)
They got me sunflowers and thistles, nice touch. Too thick to press + too much moisture.

Gaz and Ghost are the only ones keeping me sane. Therapy is a bitch: muscles are weak, reflexes are shot to hell and Gaz has taken to throwing peanuts at me now that he knows I can’t fucking dodge them. “Pretend they’re bullets,” he says, “A training simulation”.
Chinese water torture has nothing on nuts hitting you square between the brow. (I need you to really think about your phrasing here).
Now I can’t stop finding the salty fuckers everywhere.
Lt. sleeps a lot when he visits. Have a feeling he didn’t get much when I was out of commission.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again but it is absolutely an example of civilizational inadequacy that only deaf people know ASL

My family went holiday SCUBA diving once, and a couple of Deaf guys were in the group. I was really little and I spent most of the briefing overcome with the realization that while the rest of us were going to have regulators in our mouths and be underwater fairly soon, they were going to be able to do all the same stuff and keep talking.
Update: you guys this is an amazing resource for learning asl. Bill Vicars is an incredible teacher. His videos are of him teaching a student in a classroom, using the learned vocabulary to have conversations.
Not only is the conversation format immersive and helpful for learning the grammar, but the students make common mistakes which he corrects, mistakes I wouldn’t have otherwise know I was making.
He also emphasizes learning ASL in the way it’s actually used by the Deaf community and not the rigid structure that some ASL teachers impose in their classrooms
His lesson plans include learning about the Deaf community, which is an important aspect of learning ASL. Knowing how to communicate in ASL without the knowledge of the culture behind it leaves out a lot of nuances and explanations for the way ASL is.
Lastly, his lessons are just a lot of fun to watch. He is patient, entertaining, and funny. This good natured enthusiasm is contagious and learning feels like a privilege and not a chore

Please just use Sparknotes if you're going to do this. I get it. I do. But chatgpt or other genAI shit doesn't actually know what's important for you to know, and in some cases it might fully make shit up. Use sparknotes. Failing that, talk to someone who did read it. I'm begging.
oh my god, there's whole books series that ALREADY do that. Have they never heard of the No Fear series published by Sparknotes? It puts a plain everyday english translation on the opposite page from the original text, plus character lists with descriptions and helpful commentary.
fanfiction is a rare gem and a solid, living proof that, in a world of tiktok, influencers and content posting, not everything is about money and going viral. art can still be art just for the sake of the artists’ pure love, joy and passion for the art they create. fanfic writers write 100k words and more about the characters they love for free. just because they love these characters and the art of writing so much. art is not dead and the world is still beautiful.
