Stranger:Â Well, I'm not exactly planning on setting foot in church any time soon, so I guess it's fine. Go on. G
You:Â How would you feel about me being your priest, and using confessional as a time to absolve your sins through sexual acts and a good caning? MH
Stranger:Â I won't lie - I was not expecting that. Where's this come from? G
You:Â I used to think about it when I was forced to sit through church services as a boy. Now seemed as good a time as any. MH
Stranger:Â Christ. Well, I'm not doing anything else tonight. G
You:Â Perfect. Your only responsibilities is to say "Forgive me father, for I have sinned." It'll be the first thing you say, and it'll flow smoothly from there. MH
You:Â When do you get off work today? I know, but I'm asking as a pleasantry. MH
You:Â The townhouse. I'll send the car. MH
Stranger:Â Good. Good, I'll see you then. G
You:Â Mycroft's eyelids momentarily twitched as tyre crunched over gravel outside. He rose slowly, took a deep, composing breath, and opened the door. "The safeword is Augustus, and you can slow this down whenever you want. Come in, my child." He smiled knowingly at Greg.
Stranger:Â Greg's brain was screaming. He'd been unable to sit still the whole afternoon, and had been on the point of disappearing into the bathroom and pulling himself off in an effort to clear his head. Mycroft just /knew/ - knew the tiny, terrifying things that would set Greg off and as he smiled benevolently down at him from the front door, Greg felt a shiver run through his body. Slipping into the hallway, he took a deep breath and tried to clear his dry throat. "Forgive me Father, for I have sinned."
You:Â Mycroft's smile flickered with something very wry and wicked. "Come this way." He lead Greg to the study, and gestured at one of the two armchairs that had been placed close to one another. He sat in the adjacent chair, smoothing the wool of trousers slightly with his palms. He could feel Greg's eyes fixed on his every move. He looked up, and relaxed into his chair at the sight of Greg's face, torn with anticipation. "How long has it been since your last confessional, Gregory?"
Stranger:Â Sitting down a little stiffly, Greg tried to clear his throat again. "Ah." Mycroft's tone was cool and condescending - /he sounds just like a fucking priest/ - and it threw him off. Of course - it was meant to. Was he supposed to answer truthfully? His hand went to the back of his neck. "Ah, a long time. Father. Nearly twenty years."
You:Â Hearing Greg call him 'Father' had sent such a jolt down him he ran the risk of breaking character already. Mycroft's eyebrows raised in quiet judgement. "Twenty years. Well, you're here now..." No smiles this time. "May God the Father of all mercies help you make a good Confession." He leant forward slightly. "Now, my child. Is there anything you would like to confess? No matter how small, we can all ask for forgiveness from the Lord for impure thoughts... Or deeds."
Stranger:Â There were nothing but impure thoughts running through his mind right now, thanks to this priest. Gritting his teeth a little, Greg held Mycroft's unwavering gaze and opening his mouth to speak. "I think sometimes, Father, that I lose my self control. That I feel the need - the need to touch myself because I can't stop thinking about a certain person." He felt his face flush, but he didn't look away. "A certain man, Father."
You:Â Mycroft was sure not to break the piercing eye contact. "You feel the need to touch yourself?" His eyebrows raised, "Bad enough in itself, but over impure thoughts about a /man/? This is very concerning indeed, my child. You are undoubtably aware that the Bible expressly forbids this kind of perverted lust." The tension was palpable. Mycroft's heart, even through two layers of tailoring, felt almost audible to him. His voice lowered to barely more than a low whisper, though as measured as ever. Without breaking eyecontact, unbearable eye contact, he rested his hand lightly on Greg's knee. "Pray, what exactly is it that you think of doing to this man?"
