All who tuned in and shared my Curiouser Launch House Show Facebook Live video, we went from 700 views during the broadcast and doubled in 24hours! And that is because of you, thank you!
CURIOUSER has a very different feel to ‘have you met George’ - for starters I was asked to play some in store sessions for FOPP record shops in Covent Garden, Bristol and Oxford
I am writing this on the way back from Oxford with a smile spread wide across my face… all three stores have been most smiley, kind, warm and welcoming and I cannot thank you enough for having me to play for you
Covent Garden being the first, was the first time I got to hear the album played in a record store… and it sounded good! Wow!
I was playing as part of the Seven Dials London #Spotlight street festival in the 7 streets around Cambridge Circus

Later, at FOPP Bristol I had a lovely family come along who saw me at Cheltenham Jazz Festival and then another all the way form London who got there just as I finished and had started packing up so I played them a song acoustically as they had come all that way to see me! That was lovely enough, and then as I was about to walk out the front door I saw a family at the door talking to the manager “we have come to see George Montague, all the way from Italy, we follow him on YouTube”
“Oh, well he has finished now, but he’ll be coming out in a minute”
Cue my cherry wave, Tink under my arm as I walk out the store “hello!”
It’s amazing having these fans out of the blue, these beautiful people who come along unexpectedly, especially when it’s all the way from Italy!!
