Weird but did anyone else start out left handed then were “trained” to be right handed?

It wasnt terrible just seems weird, Im ambidextrous now so it’s not all that bad. And at least I wasn’t beat by nuns like my dad.

Teachers tried to make me right handed but my stubborn ass wasn’t having it.

They tried and even threatened to hold me back from kindergarten because of it. I just ended up ambidextrous but still write with my left hand if I have a choice.
