no, they aren't ! i don't even really consider the ones that came before or the ones listed as canon - the latter are in concept, but really i just swiped the main plotline and kind of imagine that it was already inherently different since the next gen were around. it got even more different after reality was rewritten and the dc characters were shoved into their new places. but no, definitely the later movies do not have to be considered canon !
