Just letting you ducklings know that Iâm gonna be shifting Maggie onto a sideblog of one of my other accounts in the next few days. I love her dearly, I just keep forgetting her over here on her own. Iâll be more reliably around when sheâs settled there. Iâll post the link when I do, the URL will be the same.

Kisses Meme; Send a word for my muse to react to!
Heatwave: My muse has been sending yours flirty texts all day. When your muse meets up with them after work, the first thing yours does is kiss them breathless.
Erin figured sheâd pulled off a silly prank. Maggie had been in the other room when she switched her number around for her boyfriendâs. Theyâd been sending flirty texts back and forth all day but she was certain that Maggie had caught on about halfway through and sheâd expected her boyfriend to blow her cover by texting her through Erinâs contact name - but still the flirty texts continued. Erin had figured that it was just Maggie being silly back. Eventually Erin had messaged to say she was on her way over with a few winky faces just to continue on the joke.Â
Maggieâs door opened and before Erin even had a change to get a word out, Maggie was pulling her close. It was a brief, but rather breathtaking kiss before the reality of the situation seemed to set in and Maggie pulled away. âMaggie!â Erin burst into laughter. âHi to you too. Is that how you greet everyone? Or were you expectingâŠâ A wide grin appeared on her face. âOh, you didnât know. You didnât know, did you?â
Erin scoffed and rolled her eyes at Maggieâs accusation. âI started it? I think you need a memory refresher.â She shook her head a little with a smirk lingering on her lips. âNot to mention, something tells me that you have never, nor will ever be corralled into anything. Donât pretend like I have that kind of power over you Maggie. Maybe I opened the door, but you definitely didnât miss a beat.â
âHis name is my name. You might want to change that back or youâre going to get really confused. Now youâll never know. Is it me? Or is it him? Hope youâve got our numbers memorised.â Erin continued to tease. It was too much fun and Maggieâs reactions were just making it even better. âIt is rather interesting that you at no point seemed to catch on that it wasnât your boyfriend that you were talking to. The real question is, am I that good? Or are you that oblivious?â She couldnât help the ridiculously amused smile that lit up her features. âHmm, I donât know. Whatâs on offer?âÂ
âOf course you started it! You started the textinâ, you changed the number,â Maggie pointed out, âIâm not the one in need of the refresher! What on earth compelled you to do this anyway?â Somehow, she felt as if she already knew that answer. It seemed to be pretty amusing from Erinâs direction and eventually Maggie would probably find the humor too though right now her embarrassment outweighed anything else. âI didnât miss a beat because I thought my boyfriend was trying to get me frisky,â she said pointedly.
She grumbled a little as she pulled her phone back out to change the names, thankfully the numbers were different enough that she knew which was which. âHad he texted me first, I would have known,â Maggie declared, pretty sure of that fact. She smirked and looked at the grinning face of her best friend, âthen maybe my not figurinâ you out had everything to do with you being a little too into flirtinâ with me? It didnât feel like you tried to make it seem outrageous, now did it?â She rolled her eyes and sighed dramatically, âI donât know, what kind of thing could I offer? Next time my daddy makes that cornbread of his, I could get you some?â

Erin was enjoying Maggieâs embarrassment far too much and Maggieâs continued reactions only fuelled it more. She was going to pay out on her friend for a long time to come for this little incident. She grinned the whole time that Maggie seemed to put all the pieces together in hindsight. It was all the things that made Erin think that sheâd been onto her little joke, clearly not. âI guess I can settle for what I did get. It was plenty.â She couldnât help continuing to taunt her.
âI figured he wouldâve messaged you and totally blown my little joke.â Erin laughed and shook her head. âI canât believe I got you all day. Thatâs great.â She tapped her finger on her chin as she pretended to contemplate the idea. âOh? You donât intend to tell him. Hmm. And what do you plan to offer me for my silence?âÂ
Maggie mentally went back through the conversation sheâd had that day. It took a lot of strength to not just look at her phone but she refused to give Erin the satisfaction or even more ammo to tease her with. âWhat you got? You do realize you started a lot of that? I would not have gone quite to those places had you not corralled me to them,â she tried to argue, hoping that it would be enough to knock Erin off her game a little.
She pouted again, âno, no he did not. Radio silence from him all day. Did you change his name in my phone too? Or just yours?â Maggie glared at Erin before moving to the couch and solidly planting herself on it, knees brought up so her head could rest against them. Once more burying her embarrassment in her limbs, she peeked out at Erin, âI donât think I want to deal with that conversation. Either I wonât hear the end of it or heâll start focusinâ too hard on the fact I didnât realize it wasnât him.â She shrugged her shoulders, finally lifting her head, âI- what do you want?â
âIâm not giving up. But I need your help. âCause I canât do it by myself.â

âOh, you really didnât know.â Erin watched as the wheels turned in Maggieâs mind and she finally made the connection. There was no hiding the amused smile that was pulling across her lips. Sheâd really gotten Maggie good, but then again sheâd kind of gotten it in return there at the door. There couldâve been worse reactions to her joke. She finally laughed as her friend seemed to cycle between anger and embarrassment.Â
âYou should be embarrassed. Jeez. Canât even tell your own boyfriend from your best friend.â Erin continued to taunt. âThere were a few things that you said there that made me think you knew it was me. Dang, girl. Youâve got some interesting lines there. I might have to take a flirting lesson or two there.â She grinned at Maggie, there was no way she was going to let this go for a very long time. âI might actually know more about you after this afternoon than your boyfriend. I wonder how heâll feel about that.âÂ
Maggie buried her face in her hands, letting out repeated and muffled âI hate youâ and âshut upâ as she tried to completely register what sheâd been doing all day. All the things she had written. All the things she had written to Erin. She probably knew a lot about the intimate details of her relationship already, but this was at a completely different level. This was her A game, though still probably not the best in the world. And sheâd used it on her best friend. Lifting her head, she pointed at Erin, âthatâs all youâre gettinâ from me.â
With an embarrassed huff, she leaned against the nearest surface and shook her head in disbelief, âI canât believe I didnât get it. I mean, you werenât around all day and even if youâre busy you still pop in to complain at least. No patient stories, nothinâ.â Maggie scrunched up her face before shaking her head more violently, âno, no no. You canât tell him a damn thing. Itâs bad enough that youâre mockinâ me for it. Do I really need it from the both of you?â

She had been moving so fast that before her brain had caught up to see that the person on the receiving end of the tackle had not been her boyfriend, it was too late. Her lips had already connected and the kiss was definitely more than a peck. Alarmed, Maggie stepped back immediately and started to apologize for the mistake until she realized Erin was â laughing. Frowning, she moved aside to let Erin into the apartment, âof course I donât greet everyone like that. I just thought you werââ
Maggie closed the door a tad bit harder than sheâd intended to, âI knew? I knew.â The gears locked into place inside her mind. She really shouldâve caught on, he never has that much free time to talk during the day and Erin had been noticeably silent on gchat. âSon of a-â she grabbed her phone from her pocket and checked the number before brandishing the device at the Australian, âyou! You! Oh, Iâm so angry with you right now.â Her smile breaking through definitely undercut the supposed rage, âgod dammit, Erin. Oh, Iâm so embarrassed.â
"What? A girl can't say she's going to get a smoothie and come back 14 hours later. There's nothing suspicious about that." (brooklynxfury)
âMaybe not, but returninâ like that is suspicious. Let me guess, the smoothie had amazinâ arms.â
Trouble Maker | Rick & Maggie
Her easy compliance and setting down the bat put Rick more at ease. Things could always change in an instant but at least for now the situation felt as if it was deescalating. Rick didnât even have to look over at Shane to know the other man was attempting to stifle a laugh at the womanâs words. If it wasnât such a serious situation, Rick mightâve actually cracked a smile as well. That quickly escalated the situation again. This time the angry victim calling out. Both Rick and Shane put a hand up to both silence and halt the both of them from going anywhere further than they stood. The last thing they wanted was for it to slip into chaos again.
The picture started to become a little more clear after their exchange. Broken hearts resulted in broken windows far more often than the general public might have suspected. Rick didnât particularly care why other than from a personal interest point of view. It was clear that she had been the perpetrator and it hardly seemed as if she was attempting to deny that fact. Open and shut case as far as he was concerned. It was her question that caused Rick to have to stifle his own smile. âYes, it would in fact hurt your case a bit. My partner is goinâ to go talk to the owner of this vehicle. Iâm just goinâ toâŠâ He cautiously approached and picked up the bat, taking a few steps back to set it on the hood of the cruiser. âleave this over here so you donât get any bad ideas. Do you have any ID on you, maâam?â
Maggie sighed in disappointment even though in the back of her mind she knew there was no way the officer would let her touch that bat again on his watch. Probably bad for business at the very least. "I don't regret anything I've done tonight," she said as she looked over at a very angrily gesturing Mark. There was no doubt in her mind that he was spinning false facts about her and calling her many unsavory things. Maggie reached into her back pocket and retrieved her I.D and held it out for the Sheriff, she'd only grabbed what was most necessary for her crusade - her bat, her keys and her I.D. "What kind of world do we live in that a douche bag like him can stomp all over a young girl's heart and my taking a few innocent swings at his car isn't justified?"
"I did him a favor anyhow," she shrugged, jerking her head in the direction of the broken windows, "it definitely wouldn't surprise me if this entire street needed to be quarantined due to hazardous materials. His gym bag alone could cause an environmental incident." Maggie knew she should probably stop talking but at this rate, she figured it couldn't hurt to get a few chuckles out of the Sheriff. She was an adult but it still didn't mean she wanted her daddy to find out. Sighing again, she crossed her arms across her belly, "alright, give it to me straight - how much trouble am I in this time? Probably a bit more than trespassin'."

âNothing worse than a monster who thinks heâs right with God.â
âWell, Iâm not sure now is the best time to bring a tiny little helpless person into our lives.â
âI ainât so afraid of losing something that I ainât gonna try to have it.â
âYou and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.â
âHow many babies have you actually delivered?â
âIâm just waiting to see if IÂ pass out. Long story.â
âGonna have to explain that to me someday.â
"I donât care what you believe. Just believe it."
âWeâre lost. Lost in the woods.â
"Does that seem right to you?"
"Keep the money."
âGet this man to the infirmary at once.â
âSeems like a lovely little community of kidnappers.â
"This isnât our home."
âThis place gives me an uncomfortableness.â
âYou folks are all insane.â
"Would you be killed in your sleep like an ailing pet?"
"You gave up everything you hadâŠ"

âItâs been a big day, what with the abduction, and all.â
âWHOO-HOO! IâM RIGHT HERE! IâM RIGHT HERE! YOU WANT SOME Oâ ME?! YEAH YOU DO! COME ON! COME ON! AAAAAH!â
âSomeoneâs carryinâ a bullet for you right now, doesnât even know it. The trick is, die of old age before it finds you.â
âWhen you canât run anymore, you crawl, and when you canât do that, well⊠you find somebody to carry you.â
âTheyâd have to be insane to follow us through here.â
âSorry! Didnât mean to startle.â
"Have you completely lost your mind?"
âWell, you were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.â
âOh, sweetie, donât feel bad. He makes everybody cry. Heâs like a monster.â
âSomeone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill âem right back!â
"You are no oneâs property!"
âRemember that sex we were planning to have, ever again?â
âWell, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly cominâ to a middle.â
"Someone starts poking around, shoot âem. Yâknow. Politely."
âI realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain⊠bullets.â
"What we need is a distraction."
âOh, Iâm gonna go to the special hell.â
ââŠI think weâve lied enough.â
âYouâre amazing. Who are you?â

"I swear⊠when itâs appropriate."
âWhat are we up to, sweetheart?â
"Iâm fixing your Bible."
âItâs broken. It doesnât make sense.â
"Noahâs ark is a problem."
âYou guys had a riot⊠on account of me? My very own riot?â
âYou know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo Iâve ever had to transport, yet by far the most troublesome.â
âYou are not the man I met a year ago!â
"Thatâs why I never kiss âem on the mouthâŠ"
âBut she was naked! And allâŠÂ articulate!â
"I got a dumbass stick that sounds like itâs raining, how come you got a wife?"
"Oh, you stupid son of aâŠ"
âI know your name, jackass!â
"He bothers me. I donât know what it is.â
"If I wanted schooling, Iâd have gone to school!â
"Hey, free soup!"
âI am a large, semi-muscular man!â
âI donât belong⊠dangerous, like you.â
âHe just has this idiotic sense of nobility, you know?â
"He can never just let things go."
"You are very much lacking in imagination!"
"I threw up on your bed."
"You have no idea! And you never will."
"Weâre dead in the water."
"Donât be afraid."
âSometimes a thing gets broke, canât be fixed.â
"You donât have to die alone."
âHe takes so much looking after.â
âYou know I would never have tried to save [other character]âs life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk!â
"Letâs go back to the part where [other character] gets knocked out by a ninety-pound girl, âcause I donât think thatâs ever gonna get old."
"Everybody dies alone."
âYou know, you ainât quite right.â
âNot as deceiving as a low-down⊠dirty⊠deceiver.â
"At last, we can retire and give up this life of crime."
"Iâm a leaf on the wind. Watch how I soar."
"Weâre gonna explode!? I donât wanna explode!"
"She is starting to damage my calm!"
"Hell, Iâll kill a man in a fair fight⊠or if I think heâs gonna start a fair fight. Or if he bothers me. Or if thereâs a woman. Or if Iâm gettinâ paid. Mostly only when Iâm gettinâ paid."
"You guys always bring me the very best violence."
âYou shut the hell up right now, or so help me, I will shut you up.â
âThe next time you decide to stab me in the back, have the guts to do it to my face.â
"Can I come in?"
"Itâs time to wake up."
âAh, the pitter-patter of tiny feet in huge combat bootsâŠâ
âOne of you is gonna fall and die, and Iâm not cleaning it up!â
âWe just have to find the right treatment for you.â
âHow do you feel now?â
âI think heâs gonna bring her flowers.â
"Iâll be in my bunk."
"You are so lovely."
âThey look so glamorous together.â
"I swallowed a bug."
"What was that?"
"People donât like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think. Donât run, donât walk. Weâre in their homes and in their heads and we havenât the right. Weâre meddlesome."
"I aim to misbehave."
"Well⊠here I am."
âIâm not giving up. But I need your help. âCause I canât do it by myself.â

Trouble Maker | Rick & Maggie
Rick and Shane had gotten dispatched to the call. A frantic young man was on the phone to dispatchers screaming about how some crazy woman was out the front of his house absolutely obliterating his truck with a baseball bat. Shane had a few words to say about the matter on the way and even Rick had managed a laugh about the situation. Truthfully, theyâd had no idea what to expect when they pulled up. Sometimes it could be angry ex-girlfriends, people with mental issues, or some other rage inducing situation. Whatever it might be, the dispatcher was right about one thing as they pulled up, the truck was obliterated.
Rick threw the squad into park a few feet away from the woman. The pair of officers quickly exited the car and approached cautiously. Rick could see Shaneâs hand on his Taser out of the corner of his eye. They were ready for just about anything except how she greeted them. So calm. âEveninâ maâam.â Rick greeted her. âIâm goinâ to need you to put down that baseball bat and then we can figure out whatâs goinâ on here. We got a call that you were destroyinâ someoneâs property.â
Maggie relinquished her hold on the bat, propping it up against the truck's door. Sure, she was disappointed she hadn't been fast enough to break the full set but she wasn't about to tempt fate with the cops present. Her gaze drifted to the clearly enraged ex before she looked back to the officers, speaking up before the idiot had a chance to, "at the risk of soundin' like a poor excuse, I'd like to point out that he broke somethin' first. And I'd have gone for something more precious than his truck but I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to see his penis without more light and maybe a magnifyin' glass."
An angry 'hey' came from her left as he processed the insult and he started to yell one straight back at her but she stopped him with her own fury, "you don't get to talk, Mark! You lost that right the second you thought you could treat anyone like you did." Maggie turned to the Sheriff, squinting to read his nametag, "Officer Grimes, is it? Would it hurt my case if I took another swing? There is one more window and I'm not to keen on leavin' him with even that much."
Trouble Maker | Rick & Maggie
Maggie wasn't thinking about the trouble she'd be in, not from the law itself or from her daddy. There was no amount of reason that would stop her from her goal. Her baby sister had come home crying, heartbroken because she'd caught her boyfriend cheating. That alone was enough to send her on her mission. After Beth had cried herself to sleep, Maggie had grabbed her baseball bat and set off. A dedicated grad student shouldn't be this incensed, shouldn't let her emotions get the better of her but the rat bastard had caused an unfathomable amount of emotional pain and he was going to answer for that. With his beloved car.
She had smashed two of the lights and a window by the time he had heard the sound and come out to see. He was yelling at her while on the phone to the authorities by the time she made it to the windshield. There was no stopping her, Maggie Greene did not start a project she didn't intend to finish. Unfortunately, the arrival of a squad car paused her intent to claim the final window for her own and she lowered the bat but didn't drop it, "evenin' sheriff."
