so a while ago one of the neighbourhood strays stayed at mine a few nights

and he's christian so we always have super long talks about Jesus and theology, he came to Mass with me once too, and every time I see him he always has "Catholic questions" for me.

haven't seen him in months but he showed up today with a rosary and some narcan hanging from his bag, and he asked to tag along with me to the Catholic store (I needed a new crucifix).

he told me how moved he was by the way I expressed my relationship with my patron saint through my hospitality. how he had been developing a close relationship with a saint and as a result had spent the day putting together a med kit so he could administer care to people he comes across.

he's staying with some folks not far from mine, it's an area where we see our neighbours overdose daily, and many of the people that sleep outside have untreated injuries and health concerns.

anyway please pray for this kid
