Playing nancy drew games as a kid was more of a sensory experience than a game one. To this day, if I hear a door close a certain way I zoom back in time to playing message in a haunted mansion and relive moving around and clicking on doors all in under a second. All because the door closing sounds in that game were so distinctive.
