behold some of our recent engineering feats to keep our instrumentation working after it breaks- 1st being a metal spatula shoved in a syringe pump and 2nd being a makeshift overhead stir plate for a stir bar in a filter. the overhead stir plate was broken so we took a bunch of height adjustable bases and stacked them and turned a hot plate upside down, which surprisingly worked
