The 13th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 13th August 2026.
It’s short and easy, for most participants it takes 5 minutes or less.
After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Then anyone can use them for academic or business purposes, self-advocacy, tracking the popularity of language over time, and just feeling like we’re part of a huge and diverse community.

Personally,I headcanon Ilya as understanding and speaking French but he has an even stronger Russian accent in French than English so he doesn’t speak it much. This stems from my other headcanon that he got an education meant to impress other members of the upper class.
Shane thinks that Ilya liking how he sounds when he speaks French is similar to how he feels when Ilya speaks Russian. *Insert Shane saying very horny/corny things about Ilya thinking he doesn’t understand*
Shane and the other Hollanders don’t find out in my mind until they are putting together Ilya’s stuff for citizenship and they are trying to help him sign up for French classes and he is like “I know French”

I really think we should stop saying "kid-friendly" and start saying "ad-friendly". We shouldn't indulge these companies and their excuses anymore. I also think that continuing to pretend that this is about "protecting the children" pushes a lot of the blame onto kids and teens, who don't have the political power to push through any of this censorship legislature. Corporations and governments are to blame.

the first thing you're going to need is a good solid boat (preferably oak wood). you will also want some cannons and a plank depending on the sort of shenanigans you plan on getting into.
Also! Not once have i seen any of you talking about the importance of citrus fruits and vitamin C. antivirus doesn't prevent scurvy. come on you should know this by now.
