Happy mclennon honeymoon day!

On this day, 1961, John and Paul started their journey hitchhiking from Liverpool to Spain. Saving all of John's hefty £100 (£2283.37 in 2021) of birthday money for making the trip as long as possible. They made it to Paris and found they wanted to stay there for their holiday. The money lasted until 14 October when they made their way home after running out. The trip was apparently last minute so no one else knew where they were or if they were coming back. There are so many stories from their stay in Paris and what that city has meant to both of them over the years.
