“Now you are just starting to annoy me.”
“I’m just saying,” Zarina huffs, “That maybe if you added a little bit more color around here, it wouldn’t be so gloomy!”
The Royal Library || Zarina and Belle
Zarina had never seen a library so huge in all of her life. Granted, it was human size, but there were still just so many books!
“I wonder who this place belongs to....” Zarina mused to herself as she flitted about the shelves, “Maybe a prince? Or a princess?” In her musing, she hadn’t noticed the actual owner of the library step in.
Meet Captain Zarina
●─●
"Hello, I am Baymax, your personal, healthcare companion. I detected a noise of distress. What seems to be the trouble?"
"I blew up my pixie dust again," Zarina huffs, wiping the dust from her hair, "But that just sorta comes with the territory."
Zarina takes a moment to look Baymax up and down, "Huh. I've never seen a human that looks like you."
Basil stared at the fairy. "Well now, don't see many humans my size!"
"Well, my dear mouse, that would be because I’m not human!"
"Name’s Zarina, resident pixie dust alchemist of Pixie Hollow." she flutters her wings, as if to prove her point, "I’m a fairy, see?" she smiles.
"A pixie dust tree, fascinating. I don’t suppose you could show me sometime? " Basil asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
"Well, I don't think Queen Clarion would be too happy about me bringing in a visitor unannounced...." she frowned, but immediately perked back up again, "I'll certainly ask her though! It's quite the sight to behold, I can assure you. It's my favorite place in Pixie Hollow!"
Adam just squinted hard at…. The thing in front of him. It was like a little person, but with wings. And it spoke. He stayed quiet for a moment, lips pressed together in a frown. “Exploring.” he repeated in a neutral tone. “Of all things. Exploring.”
"Sometimes my curiosity gets the better of me," she smiles sheepishly, "I'm sorry, ah, Sir. I promise I wasn't doing anything bad-- I've just never seen a home this big before! You could fit Pixie Hollow in here ten times over!"
"Oh, but where are my manners-- I'm Zarina, resident Pixie Dust Alchemist and ex Pirate Captain. Pleasure to meet you," she said with a bow.
"So, care to enlighten me as to what you were doing just now?" Uh oh, grumpy prince is grumpy.
"Uhm," Zarina flutters her wings nervously, "I was just exploring a bit....?"
A Small Pirate | Little Mickey and Zarina
"W-what?!" Mickey yelped. "Yer her friend? But she’s so mean ta the captain! He’s the good guy, Peter was the big…big meanie! Captain just wanted ta have his treasure, and Peter stole it and cut his hand off! Peter’s the bad guy, and Tink is bad for sidin’ with him!"
"Peter was a bit childish, that I'll admit," she shakes her head, "But James was much, much worse! He's done cruel and evil things that you probably don't even know about, little mouse. But you wouldn't be the first person he deceived, believe me..."
“Alright, landlubbers, Christmas is over. It’s back to your regularly scheduled grouch of a pirate.”
"You? Not being grouchy? Wow, it must have really been a Christmas miracle!"
"I'm just out for a breath of fresh air, that's all! Not like I....blew something else up....ahaha....haha.....ha."
Basil watched her with a grin. “That is just astounding to think such fragile looking things could support somebody. But what is this pixie dust you mentioned? Surely it’s not made out of real pixies?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I know! By any means, they're really too small to support our weight. But with a little bit of pixie dust, we're on our way!" she giggled.
"Oh certainly not," she shook her head, "It comes from the Pixie Dust Tree, not from us. It's used for nearly everything in Pixie Hollow!"
Basil’s ears perked up seeing the wings and he quickly scurried behind her to get a better look. “Most extraordinary..a fairy in person! and did you say you are an alchemist?” He added leaning his head back for a moment to look at her before continuing to marvel at the wings. “They appear so thin, do they really allow you to fly?”
"Indeed! I'm the only one in Pixie Hollow, actually. It's very dangerous work, you see," she explains, watching in amusement as he admires her wings. "Pixie dust can very volatile-- which I learned pretty quickly, to be honest."
"Oh yes!" she grins, "Allow me to demonstrate, my dear mouse." She then proceeded to take off into the air, performing numerous flips and dives. She lands across from him again after a moment, laughing as she does, "See? Perfectly good for flying!"
Basil stared at the fairy. "Well now, don't see many humans my size!"
"Well, my dear mouse, that would be because I'm not human!"

I AM NOT OKAY RIGHT NOW))
Many a Year {Zarina & Hook}
If that’s what she wanted to call him, so be it. He would have preferred his title, but doubted he could convince her to refer to him by it, because of the very reason she’d said herself.
Her answer to his question caused one of his eyebrows to raise slightly, especially at the ‘being beat by a group of fairies’ bit. But then he leaned against the chair in front of his desk as he considered an answer she would presumably believe, doubting a claim of actually caring about a few individuals would be.
"…I have, in more than one sense. I became something worse than even you knew, which is what most of what Neverland knows me as now. But I’m afraid you’ve been otherwise misinformed, I haven’t been up to much of anything ‘ere lately, namely because I’ve spent more time on the mainland than I used to over the past year."
"I can't imagine you becoming even worse than what you already were," she replies snidely, crossing her arms over her chest. What could be worse than making someone so alone think that you cared about them, when all you wanted was to use them? Zarina could think of nothing nearly as awful as that.
"A little bird told me about an over-sized mouse, and something about a lovely young princess," Zarina narrows her eyes at the pirate captain, "Something tells me you're up to the same exact tricks, Hook. Didn't you learn your lesson the first time 'round?"
Gliss gasped. “Zarina? Goodness, I’ve heard so much about you!” She lowered her voice, even though there wasn’t anyone around to hear. “Is it true you were the Captain of a pirate ship? That is so cool!” she said, voice rising back to its normal volume as her excitement grew.
Zarina laughs, though not unkindly, at the other fairy's excitement. Not many thought it was nearly as exciting as Zarina thought, but maybe she'd found someone who thought the same as her.
"I was indeed! Captain Zarina of the Jolly Roger," she grins, proudly crossing her arms over her chest, "Although my pirate days are over now. Most of the time I'm just cooped up in my home, messing with pixie dust." she laughs softly.
