REBLOG IF YOU ARE OKAY WITH JUMPING AROUND IN THREADS/PLOTS. sometimes it can take ages to get from point a to point b and half the fun is the journey. but sometimes it fun to explore different aspects of a plot. flashfowards, flashbacks, parts of the plot you have discussed but haven’t reached yet. It’s so fun to explore every part of a plot and have multiple threads in different places in a plot. Or sometimes different memes you sent/receive may not fit the point in the plot you are at right now, but fit a flashback or flashfoward. Although the jedi had grown to be isolated in his older age, that hadn’t made his heart cold. He still loved and cherished his old friends and family, even his nephew who he had wronged.

Glancing over at the young, strong woman who happened to be practicing, a smile, a fond smile appeared on his face. She was hope for the future generations. Someone who one day might make a better role model than he had been. For Luke, he was silently relived when someone had appeared. Rey was force sensitive, while he was uncertain of her path, he sensed goodness within her.

The day had gone by smoothly so far. In fact– it could be considered mellow and, in a way, that was fortunate. The young college student wasn’t particularly rich, nor poor but simply spent a lot of his time working or completing tiresome essays, which he definitely had a distaste for(they took up so much of that time he had). For the past hour or so, he had been out and about, using this time to his advantage to wander through the city, which he had only conveniently relocated to a few months ago.

The streets were newly paved and the buildings in the area he had wandered into appeared to be modern. Every now and again, he’d catch sight of a mural on a wall. Some styles—although he wasn’t much of an artist, he recognized as retro while others were modern, full of vibrant colours and abstract images. As time passed, he began to near a casual sort of cafe. From the outside, he saw a few people sitting at tables, either chatting with who they sat with or speaking with someone over the phone. Either way, the place that he would have expected to be quiet was buzzing with nothing but activity. As he walked closer, he unexpectedly caught sight of two classmates of his. While he didn’t often dislike or genuinely get annoyed with someone, he wasn’t exactly fond of hanging around them. The two, in short, were snobs. In order to avoid the pair, he came up with an idea. Foolish as it might be, it could at least get him further away from them.

Glancing to his right, he found no one that was quite appealing to him but upon looking to his left, he caught sight of a handsome brunette. He would do. Definitely. A smile spread across his soft pink lips as he headed toward the taller male. However, the young blonde knew he’d have to think of some kind of exchange to keep the other with him long enough until his classmates left. Coffee, that could work. After all, most people enjoyed that. Even though before walking up to the man he had now planned this, his chest seemed to tighten as he finally was in front of him.

Parting his lips — he quickly drew out the needed words. ❝I’ll buy you coffee if you hold my hand for five minutes.❞ That was a decent offer, wasn’t it?
