EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH LADYBUG!
First of all, a huge thank you to the wonderful @officialmiraclebug for letting me interview her and thank you @dupain-cheng-designs for being the reason this entire thing happened and thank you me for giving your phone to Marinette (it's a whole thing)
Alya: *incomprehensible screaming* LADYBUG HI!
Ladybug: Hi Alya, it’s a pleasure to be here!
Alya: Ok, ok, ok so first question, what is being a superhero like?
Ladybug: Hmm straight to the point huh? Well, it's certainly not like all the movies out there, it is definitely exhilarating and fun but it also has a bunch of stress and lying wrapped around it. Sometimes I forget that I'm the one who's supposed to be out there fighting akumas and villains. I'll be out with my friends and hear an Akuma around us somewhere and my first thought is that someone else has got it covered. It's not until I hear my friends shouting how Ladybug and Chat Noir will save us, that I realize that, wait...I'm the one supposed to be out there.
Alya: Speaking of which actually, what's your favourite part about being a superhero?
Ladybug: That's pretty hard to choose, but for me, seeing our city from this outside point of view, as like a protector of some sort, and knowing that I have a part in helping my home town, really outweighs the downsides … and also, don't tell him I said this, but meeting my partner was a really pleasant add on as well.
Alya: I mean this is being recorded and I'm sure he's gonna see this but I'll try.
Ladybug: That just means we have to steal all his means of viewing public news.
Alya’s Note: We didn’t steal Chat Noir’s means of viewing public news
Alya: I'm afraid so...Although I'm not a hacker. And now what’s your least favourite part of being a superhero?
Ladybug: I think I might've mentioned this earlier, but I guess it would be having to lie to all my loved ones and having to leave them behind with no explanation so many times. The excuses I have to make in difficult situations during akuma attacks are never fun to do. Add the fact that I'm a terrible liar, makes it all the worse.
Alya: I can't imagine how difficult that must be, mad respect for you, bug. Where did you get your powers from?
Ladybug: It is. But I would never leave the people of Paris behind. Also, I'm not sure if I can answer that on public media, but I'll let you know it has something to do with the cookie-loving kwami who is currently spamming on Tumblr.
Alya: Is she actually a tiny god?!
Ladybug: Umm... perhaps yes, perhaps no?
Alya: Why does she love cookies so much?
Ladybug: I'm actually not sure about that, probably the same reason Chat Noir's kwami loves cheese, I'll ask her after this though.
Alya: Is it that she can only eat cookies or is cookies just her favourite food?
Ladybug: She can eat other things too, I've only ever tried sweets like macarons and galettes, but I do know she can, it's just that she would prefer to have cookies when she can.
Alya: Ohh so she just has a sweet tooth.
Ladybug: Mhm, and it's rather easy to get a hold of sweets where I live, so it's easier for both of us that way.
Alya: Any theories on who Hawkmoth could be?
Ladybug: Chat Noir and I have tried to make guesses on who it could be and such, but I don't think it's a good idea to latch onto specifics if we aren't for on them yet. All we know currently is that he's a middle-aged man between the ages of 30-50, is over 180 cm and has rather wealthy living circumstances considering what he can afford to do on a daily basis.
Alya: Yeah that makes a lot of sense. Now, could you give me three words to describe Chat Noir?
Ladybug: Kind, loyal, and maybe, sometimes, perhaps, under the right circumstances...funny.
Alya: Hey ladynoir shippers watching this, take notes, take notes! Anyways, What other miraculouses are there?
Ladybug: I'm not even sure about all the miraculouses myself, but some other miraculouses besides the bug, cat, and butterfly, are the fox, turtle, bee, and peacock.
Alya: THERE'S A FOX MIRACULOUS?
Ladybug: Yes, and there’s quite a lot more, I just have only seen a few of them myself.
Alya: Woah, where did you see them? is there someone looking after them?
Ladybug: I can't tell you about the where, but I do know Hawkmoth would be glad to get his hands on a few extra miraculouses.
Alya: Oh I would bet on that. Are you actually over 5,000 years old?
Ladybug: ALYA! You would dare ask a lady her age?
Alya: Alya is very curious :(
Ladybug: That will be a secret I will be taking with me to the grave.
Alya: So, is it safe to assume you’re the oldest person ever?
Ladybug: Why not? Actually, wait, never mind. Do you remember the sculptor who got akumatized a while back? The one who tried to pretend to be Chat Noir? So yeah, umm he was too old for me. So if there's anyone around his age, please don't be into me or whatever-not legal.
Alya: Oh! Ok, then thanks for being honest. What does being a superhero mean to you?
Ladybug: I think I might be repeating things already, but I would say it's just being someone people in my city can rely on, someone they can trust to protect them when others can't.
Alya: Anything you would like to say for the viewers?
Ladybug: Please remember that if you do get akumatized, it is never your fault, only Hawkmoth's. You should never feel guilty about that. Also, don't try to hide your strong emotions, it's going to do you much more damage in the future than getting akumatized will, try to be positive but not at times where it's actually hurting you to be.
Alya: Thank you so much for the wonderful answer Ladybug and thank you so much for participating in this interview, it was incredible and I wish you and Chat Noir all the best!
Ladybug: Of course! And thank you too Alya for having me here. I'll have to take my leave now, however, Bug Out!
