He couldn’t help but keep that smirk on his face. Not everyone trusted a stranger who didn’t run away after seeing a dead body. He most certainly wouldn’t have trusted anyone who showed an interest in such a thing, but that was him. This was her, and oddly enough, he felt she made a dire mistake on her part.

He could sense that fear off of her too. It made things so much sweeter. Even though hunting made his food taste so much sweeter, actually manipulating it made it so much more fun.
