i see everyone taking the ending as if jax is "dead" but like. am i the only one who sees the ending as being hopeful about the people who've abstracted? i think the story is pretty clearly implying that theyre still "alive", and that there's certainly hope for them, they just need time to actually come back. maybe thats just the optimist in me idk
