Based on an au / roleplay storyline where Charles and Erik fight for mutant rights together. They have to hide from the American government, make plans in small inconspicuous motels and have each other's backs... cause they've only got one shot. Being enemies of the state with a mutual goal really is something to bond over, isn't it? Although it's hard to come to terms with Erik's moral flexibility and Charles' pacifist ideals.
