I got bombarded with hate because I'm right. We're in a period of strong reactionary antifeminist pushback because we made A LOT of progress VERY QUICKLY in the 2010's and it threatened the shit out of the systems all at once so they all started screaming all at once. In mainstream culture we see this with what happened when Johnny Depp fully figured out how to weaponize the algorithms, on tumblr we see it in the transandrophobia movement. This is the antifeminist movement the trans men started when the MRA boom happened in the mid 2010's. Because of the complicated space trans men take in the gender-overlay, they were the last portion of the trans community to really find a good word to discuss their specific position. The MRA movements preyed on the loneliness and frustration there and then told them that the rest of the trans community was against them. Now, there is no transmasculine positivity, there is only cries from the halls about how badly they are treated. I pointed out to one of them last night and this is how we really got somewhere... But if you look, you see a bunch of people telling you that bad things happen to them and people like them and that's bad. But you don't see a lot of posts that actually tell you what happened. What it looks like.
Trans men feel very victimized. All their posts are screaming about how victimized they are because not only are they victimized by the system in very obvious ways, but no one listens to them. They think no one listens to them about the things that are very obvious, because no one knows about the things that aren't obvious. No one knows about the things that aren't obvious because they don't talk about the bad things that happen themselves, only that they happen. When you ask "what happened?" it feels like an attack. It feels like an attack because they already think you don't believe them. They already think you don't believe them because they think no one listens to them about the obvious ways they are victimized by the system, and if you don't listen to that, you are against them.
It's honestly one of the most heartbreaking things ever. They are stuck in an MRA outrage loop where they have insisted that it's not possible for the rest of us to feel solidarity with them so they refuse to give us the chance and then insist that we're the ones resisting. When we say "transandrophobia is a bad word" what we mean is "trans men have real experiences that no one is talking about because everyone is talking about the fake experience of being victimized in ways that range from legit not real to misrepresentations of reality. We need to talk about those real experiences."
But also trans men hold a privilege they are desperately trying to refuse responsibility for. The feminist movement naming the transmasculine liberation movement would finally give the only gender groups below them (and it's really not many) the full language to push back. And they freaked out. Not unsimilar to how the gay men freaked out and doubled down against women when they started getting mainstream support. The biggest difference is the TERFs have all that moneeeyyyyyyyyyyy and so we're in this HUGE antifeminist regression in general. It's going to be hard to push back, which is why I haven't been doing it to this extent for years. But right now I'm on a leave from work and school so I have the time and mental energy, and it's worth it to push back.

If they even put this effort into actually helping the men they claim to care about: trans housing, trans employment lawyers, trans shelters, trans sports leagues, it would do more for people than this shit. But it was never about actually helping vulnerable men either. Just like how MRAs will go on and on about male rape victims and male circumcision but then actually mock men who talk about these things; very few of these activists give two shits about making the world a better place. Keeping women down is the point. Taking things away from women is the point.

That’s the full sentence of the quote you chose. She says the role human females (women) are expected to fulfill in society, i.e. femininity, does not arise from differences in psychology, biology, or intellect, but rather, femininity is a result of socialization, of a social construct.
So in very simple terms: the feminine role is not natural to human females. Women are taught to occupy a specific place in society through socialization, not as a natural result of biology.

The Dunk Shrunk Event, 2023
In the wake of the recently released publication by Engelman, the famous Dunkleosteus got its size cut from the previously humongous 7 metres long beast of an Arthrodire have now downsized into 3 - 5 metres long Hydrogen bomb shaped fat fish. Here are my rendition of the new dunk, honestly, I am fond of the new form of this animal.

The murder of girls and women being lumped with genders and sexualities under the MMIWGLGBTQIA+ acronym reminds me of that thing I posted a while ago about how they’re really trying to brand the oppression of women as an “identity”. Just like they’re trying to push “sex worker “as a type of gendered identity.
The point is to make external social circumstances (violence against women) an internal event that forms the basis of your self concept. So that you can, ultimately, auto-oppress yourself and be perpetually stuck in your social position.
They’ve already succeeded in doing this with sexism/gender roles. Sexist gender roles, artificially created by society, is now your “innate identity”. Instead of a boy wondering why his interest in “feminine” things renders him low status amongst other men- he now just goes ahead and identifies as the low status classification (ie: female/girl/woman). Thus, there is no opportunity for questioning or resistance to the hegemonic masculine structure.
Similarly, by including missing and murdered women in an identity acronym you’re supposed to just cognitively accept that Indigenous women are the type to go missing and be murdered. Instead of drawing attention to the external forces that cause this phenomenon, with this language, we’re supposed code the experience of being missing or murdered as just part of these women’s innate identity.
Transfeminism accuses radical feminism of being obsessed with the “negatives” of womanhood. But it’s the opposite- the radical feminist position sees womanhood as the neutral experience of being human and having a female body. We seek to highlight the oppressive external social structures imposed on said body.
Transfeminism is concerned with the internal experience of “being feminine”. That’s why to them, to discuss external oppressive structures is to attack the state of “being a woman”. They have decided that external circumstances is now a part of their identity and self-concept and so when you focus on the oppression of women, you’re muddying their self concept with negativity.

Big red jellies (Tiburonia granrojo) are found between 600–2,100 meters (2,000–7,000 feet), and their bells can reach up to one meter (3.3 feet) across. It was named Tiburonia granrojo in recognition of the research contributions of the ROV Tiburon, retired by MBARI in 2008. The species name, granrojo, means big red, a descriptive name that biologists used to refer to this jelly until it was formally named.
