For now we must adhere to the principles of our democracy.Ā
We must let the wheels of the senate turn.
Do me a favor. Reblog this if you welcome the use of ask memes as icebreakers between characters that have never, or rarely, interacted before.
For forces sake I've got gray hair in my eyebrows
"Need I mention Taris? Mission didnāt even have to tell me about that, every force user felt it, all because you and Bastilla happened to be on the planet."
Ouch talk about a really low blow there Jolee, āYes because IĀ totallyĀ could have prevented that from happening with no memories at all beyond that I was a bloody smuggler.āĀ
"I didn't say it was your fault, the trouble just happened to follow you there. I swear you youngins get on my nerves more and more every day."
"Really? Do I have to bring up the whole ordeal on the Leviathan? Or Kashykkk? Or almost jeopardizing the Republicās deals on Mannan? Or my favorite, joining the Sith Academy?"
"Minor setbacks! All of which turned out for the better I may add! Nothing to the extent of the entire galaxy going to shit."
"Need I mention Taris? Mission didn't even have to tell me about that, every force user felt it, all because you and Bastilla happened to be on the planet."
purelyacademicinterestĀ replied to yourĀ post:{; I just really love the idea of a reallyā¦
[Jolee: āNow you know how I feel about you.ā]
"What are you talking about I do not get into trouble to this extent." Here have a still exasperated but also now in denial, Revan.Ā
"Really? Do I have to bring up the whole ordeal on the Leviathan? Or Kashykkk? Or almost jeopardizing the Republic's deals on Mannan? Or my favorite, joining the Sith Academy?"
Jolee says the most insightful things
"What gave you the impression the council knows what its doing? Revan couldāve faced the council, probably wouldāve become the next Grandmaster, however the choice to lead the Sith seemed to be the most prudent move. But unless we could be in Revanās mind weāll never know the reasoning behind starting the Jedi Civil War."
"I suppose that we shall never know, since Revan died at the collective hands of the Jedi and Malak," Her tone was wistful, as though she wished that it were not so and that Revan was still around for her to pick at his mind. After all, surely the General had good reason for his actions? From what she knew, Revan did not seem to be the type to fall so quickly and so easily to the Dark Side.
"And that's where Malak went wrong, he thought he'd kill two birds with one stone, but what he forgot was he wasn't as skillful and tactiful to make it look like the Jedi did it, he wanted the glory...imagine if he hadn't fired on the ship. Would Revan had defeated Bastila and would we be in the presence of Revan being skilled and wielders of the force? We'll never know though, what Malak did is done and we're simply in each others presence, one of which is starting to get annoying."
"You didnāt wake me, Iām sneaking out for one last trip to the Shadowlands before the new padawans arrive and Iām stuck in the dojo with Cin."
Ā Ā Ā āOh, come now. Surely they canāt be that terrible,āhe said, he smile amused.
"Not that bad eh? Why don't you try and teach a group of padawans with Cin working up everyone into a sweat making it smell worse than a rancor pit.." The old jedi grumbled and wrapped his robes around himself, "Can't even do deep breathing exercises."
Rukol held up her hand, "Now, now, old man. No one ever said you were in the wrong. I was merely making an inquiry. I am Rukol. I have found myself in this place without knowing anything about it. Would you mind humoring my ignorance?"
"Bah, humoring ignorance is pointless, only leads to more of it. Youāre on Kashyyyk, the trees didnāt give it away? Or the wookies and abandoned Czerka outpout?" Jolee wrapped his robes around himself, "And youād best be prepared for the planet to come alive, its almost dark."
High Council Hookey
Jolee had his hood up as he walked to the meditation gardens, the High Council had given him a headache and then Vrook began one of his platitudes about force wounds and the rest had been tuned out before he finally left the council, his missing presence unnoticed. The old Jedi still had a few tricks the council wasn't aware of, and if it got him a few moments peace well that was a happy coincidence. He found the saplings he had transplanted from his old hovel and found his bench and leaned back, for a brief moment it could be like he was back in Kashyyyk.Ā
"Perhaps. You are not a Jedi? Then that means you have no price on your head, or at least, not one that I'm interested in. Ah, and... I'm older than I appear. Though I'll take your mistake as a compliment, old man." Rukol chuckled, crossing arms over her midsection, "Tell me, what is an old man like you doing out here, in a place like this?"
"I'm not a Jedi, but I'm not a Sith either...call it exile or a sabbatical it won't matter." Bindo furrowed his brow, a Shadow for the Empire, he'd only crossed blades with one on Kashyyyk, the wildlife ended up taking him down in the end. "An old man can't go visit force sensitive areas without being questioned? If that's the case I'd just be on my way."

"Seems the Force refuses to allow me a moments peaceā¦what is it?"
"I apologize for the intrusion. I was simply passing through the area but I sensed your aura andā¦well, I allowed my curiosity to get the better of me.
I can leave if that is your desire.ā
"What's there to apologize for? I've already been disturbed, apologizing or leaving won't change that. What caused you to be so curious about my aura hm? Was it because its wrinkly, complaining about the temperature or just causing rather unpleasantness by holding up the buffet line?"

"Seems more and more young folk are getting mixed up in this Sith business."
A grim smile passed over Rukolās shadowed face, āYoung folk? Your words flatter me. Sad to say, that Iām far from young. By the stasis chamberās count, itās been two melleniaā¦. Who are you, old man?ā Rukol answered, crossing her arms over her chest as she held him in a steady gaze.
"Talk to me when you go bald and creak whenever you try to get out of chairs, just because you were in stasis doesn't mean you're mature. Part of me often wonders at what age Sith reach emotional maturity, if they even have such a thing." Jolee sighed and shook his head, at least this Sith hadn't out right attacked him, "I'm just a crazy old man from the woods.
"Not all of the council is in agreement, rarely is, however they seemed to agree the less mentioned of a Jedi turned Sith the better. A majority assume Revan was always a Sith, and are only told a few details. Jedi who fought in wars gave into anger, Jedi in exile where lost causes, and so on and so on, if the Council doesnāt approve you might as well have caused the First Split."
"So because they have differing opinions the Council thereby shuns Revan? That hardly seems like it would be a good idea, itās no wonder why he didnāt return to them after the Mandalorian Wars had finally ended; or that so many followed Revanās lead once this war began."Ā
"What gave you the impression the council knows what its doing? Revan could've faced the council, probably would've become the next Grandmaster, however the choice to lead the Sith seemed to be the most prudent move. But unless we could be in Revan's mind we'll never know the reasoning behind starting the Jedi Civil War."
