Tumblr Sexyman Contest 2026 Final Round
Senshi (Dungeon Meshi)
Ryland Grace (Project Hail Mary)
Mr. Ant Tenna (Deltarune)
Tenna art by @9Aaaalt29 on twt
“And if you’ll give me 40% of the MOST POPULAR VOTE, I’ll give you my SPECIAL REWARD... A year’s supply of NON-GLOOBY SLIME!!! Never or BARELY used!!!” Tenna concluded his speech with a huge smile, jetting his hands up in double peace signs.
The crowd roared in confused enthusiasm as Tenna gave a gracious flurry of low-FPS bows, pausing only for the occasional stink-nose at his audience plants who weren’t throwing enough 3D roses.
Eventually, the room fell silent. It was Senshi’s turn to speak.
He puffed out his chest, took a long, sweeping look over the audience… and shook his head.
“I can see not all of you are eating properly.”
The crowd murmured with embarrassment.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s time to take the turkey out of your icebox. I have seen the ingenious technology with which your people store food... and I have also seen the waste which results from such convenience.
“The food you take had a life. Beasts grew fat on the grass of the field, plants grew from the sun’s rays, and mushrooms grew from minerals in the cracks of caves. And yet, it sits in your iceboxes, collecting moisture until it perishes.
“Eat what is given to you. Because its life will make you stronger, too.”
Without another word, Senshi left his podium and stepped away from the stage. The crowd murmured in confusion. “Is he really like that?” somebody said. “I only remember reblogging the photosets of him tripping and showing ass.”
--
Back in the Green Room, Tenna wrung his antennas nervously.
“Y-y-you think they liked me!? They HAD to!! I mean, I don’t know what Asgore was thinking, getting that weird haircut and running that food waste campaign, but… YOU thought I did good, didn’t you, Kris?”
Laios nodded aggressively, a streak of blue face paint peeling from his forehead.
“You did AMAZING, Tenna! By the way, now that we’ve seen all your insider campaign secrets, do you have any more videos of Susie? Especially her tail... If I could get a look at that, I could finally tell if she’s a dinosaur or --”
THWACK. Fake antlers butted Laios’s head.
“LAIOS?? Weren’t we dressed up to help SENSHI???” Marcille hissed, gesturing awkwardly with her hooves.
Suddenly, Tenna turned to the two adventurers.
“Hey, WAIT a second. SOMETHING’s not right here...”
Laios and Marcille held their breath.
“Where the heck are my POINTS!?”
Just then, the door opened. Chilchuck took one step into the room, whistling and holding a large bag.
Everyone turned to him.
Chilchuck paused, took a step backwards, and closed the door.
“CHILCHUCK!!!” yelled Tenna.
“How come Chilchuck got to stay Chilchuck!?” yelled Marcille at the same time.

Happy 10th Birthday to the Ballpit
happy dashcon day to all who celebrate.
fun fact: I was supposed to be a featured guest at dashcon. I backed out well ahead of it due to some scheduling thing, I think, or maybe the vibe was off...honestly I don't remember that well. dodged that bullet.
please. im so nosy.
addition which is maybe more pressing and also has been true since chapter 4. PLEASE
I think the funniest thing Toby Fox could do is not have Papyrus show up in Deltarune at all and then in the post credits after you you beat the game you'd see a message appear that says "you can now play with Papyrus" and then he'd be retroactively inserted into every single chapter like some kind of new game+

I do not agree with veganism as a moral standard. If it is your personal moral stance, that is fine. If you think humans eating meat is inherently immoral, I don’t want to deal with you, you’re hopeless. Vegan ideology behaves more like a sect of evangelical Christianity than a dietary choice.
Veganism is better for the environment, but claiming that it's a morally superior choice ignores cultural and economic factors that make people eat animal products.
It is not inherently better for the environment. That is the thing. When you begin trying to explain that local, sustainably sourced animal protein is better for the environment than imported plant proteins that are farmed 3,500 miles away using slave labor, they start tuning you out. Down is better for the environment than polyester stuffing, leather is better for the environment than pleather. We should work on making animal agricultural practices more sustainable instead of trying to shame everyone into eating plant products that are also farmed unethically and unsustainably.

I really can and will blame the 9-5 for everything. "We're in a loneliness epidemic" well, we have to spend a third of our day interacting with people in a professional way that makes forming real friendships difficult and then we're peopled out by the time we're done. "People are eating more and more unhealthily" people have to spend more than a third of their day doing work related tasks and they don't want to spend their tiny amount of free time making food. "People aren't involved in their local communities" after spending more than a third of their day doing work related things people are tired and also all those community events take place during normal working hours. "People need to get more hobbies" after spending more than a third of their day working, people are TIRED and don't want to do anything that takes yet more energy. "Literacy is dying" to maintain your critical thinking skills you need to read/watch things that make you think and after spending more than a third of your day doing work related stuff you are TIRED and don't want to expend even more brainnpower. "People need to get outside more" People. Are. TIRED. Because they have to spend all of their time working or preparing for work or recovering from work or doing all the chores they couldn't stay on top of because of work. I can blame fucking anything on having to work, it is truly the root of all fucking evil.

it really is annoying as hell how someone will talk about how poor people can't avoid ethically dubious products because of how being poor works and then someone with a two story house in the suburbs will take that to mean they can order harry potter books through a drone delivery from amazon and if you criticize that you're a bigot
No ethical consumption under capitalism also means: "the production mechanism of capitalism are deliberately obscured and so complex that it's nearly impossible to accurately measure the environmental and humanitarian impact of everyday items and it's okay if you can't do the research to find out. Even if you're financially very comfortable, you don't have to spend 5 hours researching which tomatoes are the most ethical before you take a trip to the grocery store. Spending your whole life trying to accurately measure the ethical impact of every purchase is a time sink that will not bring about a systemically better world."
not "obviously shitty choices don't exist".
For some reason it seems like every time I mention that closeted queer people exist and to strangers may appear functionally identical to cis and straight people and thus we need to be cognizant of that in order to foster a world in which these closeted people feel safe coming out always seems to result in people going "brrbrr won't anyone think of the poor cishets" at me.
Like. I actually am not talking about the cishets here, I'm talking about actually queer people who do not feel safe to come out and why that might be so that we can fix that problem and find a way to allow them to live their truth and peace and happiness as themselves. I actually don't care about the cishet people who won't feel any of these effects, I care a lot more about the rest of my community who are too afraid of the consequences to live as they've been longing to because things like being disowned by your family and being hatecrimed by your neighbors are still things that happen to queers across the globe and also in this country.
There's also the idea that there's some queer people who don't "look it", and it's a little unfair to keep demanding those people come out time and time and time again to be accepted in community... ... And on the flip side, I care about the cis het people who get bullied for existing too close aesthetically to us?
I don't think there's safety for open or closeted and stealth queer people by ignoring that people are getting shit kicked for seeming too close to us?
The thing is that by fixing the queerphobia that discourages closeted queers from coming out, we would also be fixing the queerphobic targeting of cishets who are "too close" to queerness. This is why I say I'm not really thinking about them for this- yes, they too are targeted and affected by queerphobia, but when I say "they won't really feel the effects of this" I more mean the effects of a society that accepts and loves and values its queer population as equal to its cishet population. There are really no drawbacks in this for a cishet person, and only really benefits, so I'm not speaking out of a concern for them. I am, however, speaking out of a concern for rest of my community.
A few years ago a prominent trans woman on this site (I wont say who because I don't want to be harassed) talked about reading something written by an apparent closeted trans women. He (because that was the pronouns he was using and we respect that) talked about how difficult his experience with gender was, how he often wanted to be a woman but it seemed so impossible. The entire thing was heartbreakingly painful to read. A person genuinely suffering and facing incredibly difficult barriers.
This trans woman's take away was that he needed to "get over himself and take some estrogen". She felt genuinely offended, saying it was offensive to women who had already transitioned. Her post had tens of thousands of notes and thousands of people agreeing with her.
This was a trans woman who lived in a country where transitioning was safe, she had her transition paid for by universal healthcare, her family was not a major barrier to transition, her medical transition went extremely well, seeing results many trans women can only dream of, and she had the immense good fortune of being able to start her transition before she even reached 20 years old. She had damn near every advantage a trans woman could hope for.
Now I am sure it wasn't easy for her, but I don't think she understood the deep, soul crushing suffering that some, maybe even most, trans people go through. How many of us don't make it at all. And she not only didn't care to try to understand, she was actively hostile when people pointed out how cruel she was being towards people of our community who are struggling.
In the queer community, solidarity has always been a critical part of who we are and how we survive. But we are starting to see more and more people, often young people, who had relatively advantageous queer lives that didn't need that kind of solidarity. Many of them never develop the sense of responsibility most of us have towards other queer people. They do not care about the people who are closeted, because they should just "get over themselves and take some estrogen", because it literally was that simple in their experience. If something makes them uncomfortable, then it must be bad, and the idea that they can't clock strangers on sight, especially in queer spaces, makes them uncomfortable. So uncomfortable they are willing to throw closeted people under the bus.
i should be nicer to anons calling me an egg maybe it's their first time seeing someone even slightly gnc
i have to ask actually. what happens when you go in someone's inbox and go "omg you should try being a girl i bet you're actually a closeted girl" and it's a trans man. does that ever happen. what then
auaahhauhghhh awful awful awful
[Image ID: Anonymous Tumblr ask reading: I'm a trans guy who dresses goth and slutty and i get "omg estrogen would save her" like at least once a week. And when I complain about it people tell me I'm being transmisogynistic for not wanting people to misgender me and tell me to detransition. so yeah I don't talk about it but it fucking sucks /End ID]
